Really fun game, but the reason this game is better than others to me is the love and care his developper has for it. So many changes (big and small) were made because Todd from Gilligames listened to feedback is amazing.

interesting game from this solo dev. amazingly still minor updates/patches 4 years on! gets repetitive end-game and progresses very slow, but there is a lot of dynamicism and nuances in this game. i'm still working to be the top rock band 70+ hours in, but I am enjoying the grind, which is a rare sentiment nowadays. thank you gilligame

Get this game. It's polished, and stable. This is a real management simulator with you still being involved in your bands day-to day stuff. I recently watched a video where the dev says he is making more time to evolve the game. I really hope that is true because he has a winner here. The graphics could use an update, but going through the process of getting photo shoots done, posters, T shirts and banners, while using an intuative song creator and having to practice is addictive. Choosing when to buy / upgrade name brand equipment and develop your characters When you finally get into gigs and tours, the beginning grind to generate money becomes worth it. If DLCs/Packs come out i'm all in at this point. There are some suggestions to be made, but this is more of a solid base to grow from. It's a breath of fresh air considering some of the latest buggy, hot garbage that gets labeled "early access" or worse releasing it too early for a quick cash grab from the company looking for cash not quality. Oh ya....buy this game, you won't be disappointed, and hopefully inspires the person who made it to keep adding to it. I'm picky and don't usually write reviews. This was worth it!

Bought this after binging Daisy Jones! This is a classic rock band simulator set in a world where the internet was never invented and the 1900s never ended. This game really should start in 1976 instead of 2006. I wish they leaned into the historical angle with some vintage fashions and more outfits and animation variety. But this appeals to the part of my brain that gets super addicted to otome/dating stat raising games. The focus is on the day-to-day logistics of a band writing and recording music, signing record deals, and going on tour. The game has no real narrative, but I like to invent stories in my head. One of my band members got in some non-specific legal trouble, so I decided she had a drug problem and I'm having her write lyrics about drug addiction even though the crowds in our region want to hear lyrics about wealth. We're not in it for the money! I think this could thrive as a mobile game with paper doll character customization and streamlined travel. I'd have more fun driving around cities if they weren't empty and didn't all look the same.
