🎮 Difficulty Curve: Easy to get into, and super satisfying if you love optimizing logistics. But once you get deep into the game… well, let’s just say motivation starts running out. 🔄 Replayability: Great for restarts, not so much for long-term play. Once you unlock enough tech and expand, there’s not much to keep you hooked—it starts feeling repetitive. 🚛 Strength of the Game: Logistics simulation is where this game shines. If you love setting up supply chains and watching them run smoothly (or fail spectacularly), it’s a solid pick. 🛤️ Controls & UX: Building train tracks? Pure pain. You’ll spend more time trying to figure out why your train won’t move than actually running your industry. Sometimes the track is fine, but the train just decides it doesn’t have a path. That’s my biggest frustration. 👀 Graphics & UI: Clean, simple, and nice to look at. 📈 Progression: Satisfying at first, but eventually, it just becomes "expand with more resources" without anything truly new or exciting. 💰 Worth the money? At full price? Not really. But on sale? Absolutely worth grabbing. 👍 Final Verdict: Yes, but with caveats! – 6/10

Really fantastic game, i keep coming back to it as a background game. Its not massively complex, yet still interesting enough that you can mess up your entire economy if you don't think about it.

Its fun but relatively shallow. I had a great time with it, and can definitely see myself coming back to it. Great fun for casually picking up on a day off. I will say, my main complaint is that the AI competitors don't really do anything or really serve a a part of the difficulty. The majority of the difficulty (at 100% diff at least) comes from traffic management (hence why trains are so important. Trains are a tad finicky, but it is possible to make complicated and satisfying train routes. A secondary QOL request I would have was that the distance you can place train/boat/zeppelin terminals from warehouses (the main logistical building of the game) should be clearly indicated when placing warehouses, especially in the case of boats it can be frustrating to "guess and check" if you are able to place a boat terminal from the recently places warehouse. My last note is that the game quickly feels "solved." As the AI companies don't really serve as much competition, once you have created a steady cash flow for yourself, the challenge becomes almost entirely removed (from the business side of the game at least). It would be nice if the market system was more dynamic, and if the other businesses felt like real competitors. Despite my minor complaints, the game is very fun and satisfying to play, and I look forward to many more hours in the future.

I like this game in small doses. I probably play it for a few hours every now and again. Its good but not exceptional. If you can get it on sale then great, try it.

"Rise of Industry" is my go-to game for strategy and management fun. I can play it for hours without getting bored. I like how it makes me think and plan my moves. Even though sometimes I wish there were more things to do, overall it's a great game. It keeps me hooked and wanting to come back for more. If you enjoy games that make you think and keep you entertained, ROI is definitely worth checking out.
