I was just about to give this a negative review at ~10hrs in when i accidentially opened the "gated" content. 1) Starting the game you have to choose which league you'd like to begin with, and that decision will stay with you like it or not! (i got stuck with 600cc & 1000cc's in some quite demanding races for 10hrs!!!) There's no way to start over your career, or have a look at the other leagues whilst being in Moto-Hell. (Tip: Asian league has the fun 2-strokes!) 2) If the above was'nt bad enough, bikes available for purchase are gated behind what cups you're allowed to compete in. Prepare to play for a while before being able to buy yourself a 2-stroke AND a harley :E 3) It took me 10hrs to (accidentially) find the setting to (partially) disable Anti Wheelie & Traction Control. That alone made the bikes finally feel alive. Before that, the riding felt like a 1:1 copy of Formula 1 on two wheels, i.e. "hit apex at perfect speed or be damned" - now i can slip & slide towards and through corners just like i'm used to from Ride 2. ^^ Wish i had known before

genuinely one of the greatest motorbike racing games ive ever played, takes time to get good but once youre comfortable you can race for hours. and it runs on my absolute potato of a laptop.

I'm new to the genre and even at 25% AI difficulty it's challenging—but in a good way. The multiplayer is a standout: welcoming community, awesome bike variety, and fantastic sound design. Picked it up on sale, and it's definitely been worth it.

Would I recommend? Yes, absolutely. The game is beautiful and the handling is better than any other motorcycle game, BUT the AI is just awful. You leave them for dust on the straights with any bike, but in the corners with some bikes and on some tracks, the AI will be the one leaving you in the dust. They carry unrealistic speeds through corners and brake so late, that even Daniel Ricciardo would be jealous. But if you don't mind this, you don't want to get max points in everything, you just want to have fun with Bikes, than this is by far the best game you can get, even with Ride 5 being out

(10 hours on steam for ride 4, but ive sunk over 1000 hours into every other ride game) NOT for beginner gamer racers, however i found with all the assists turned on this game is quite tolerable even for my almost 50 year old mom, on a slower bike of course. I love the arsenal of bikes, upgrade system feels easy. i will forever return to this game just to get that RUSH..... and maybe remind myself how easy it actually is to eat asphalt in the real world. . ride safe everyone, and have fun. P.S sorry i was not more informative, will need to sink more hours into this ons
