My Second Yuzusoft Visual Novel After Café Stella, Riddle Joker was my second Yuzusoft visual novel, and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the setting and the idea of people having special abilities. The school setting, secret identities, comedy, romance, and supernatural stuff made it really fun to go through. I also really liked the visual presentation. The UI looks really nice and everything feels smooth while reading. It gave me the same nice feeling I had when playing Café Stella, and I really liked that. The dialogue and voice presentation are also really easy to follow. The characters were probably my favorite part again. I played through all the routes for Ayase, Nanami, Hazuki, Mayu, and Chisaki. I enjoyed all of them and liked getting to know each character more through their own route. They all have their own personalities and stories, and it was fun seeing their relationships with the protagonist develop. I also liked the interactions between everyone in the common story. There were a lot of funny moments, and I enjoyed seeing the characters together before going into their individual routes. The one thing I wish was different is Chisaki's route. I really liked her character, but her route felt too short compared to the others. I honestly wanted more time with her and more of her story and interactions. It reminded me of Suzune's route in Café Stella. I really liked Suzune too, and I had the same feeling when her route ended so quickly. I just wish both of them had gotten a longer route like the others because I enjoyed their characters. Overall, I had a really good time with Riddle Joker. I enjoyed the characters, routes, comedy, romance, visual presentation, and the whole setting. Café Stella was my first Yuzusoft VN, and Riddle Joker was my second. Since I enjoyed Café Stella so much, I'm glad I decided to try another Yuzusoft game, and Riddle Joker didn't disappoint me. Definitely glad I played it. ❤️

First Yuzusoft game, one that I have been eyeing for a while. First impressions was massive since I wasn't expecting the Flowchart mechanic, which I wish other VNs and even actual games have so I can just quickly select my choices without restarting all over again and again. The humour was nice, story is interesting with Satoru having to balance his life as a spy while falling in love with one of the girls. I do love how all the girls are really cute and lovable in their own way, and I enjoyed their routes. Their voice acting really help to sell scenes as well, and the art is really nice to look at. Nice to experience a moege, and I can't wait to try other Yuzusoft products

In terms of presentation, it delivers what you'd expect from Yuzusoft. High quality artwork, expressive characters, good voice acting, and a solid soundtrack that fits the tone of the game. Overall, "Riddle Joker" it's an enjoyable visual novel with a strong focus on its characters, and it's easy to recommend if you like lighthearted romance-focused stories. As a final note, the game also includes optional adult content (+18), but it's not part of the default version that we can buy here in Steam. If you want to access to it, you need to download and install an additional +18 patch from the official Yuzusoft website.
