The only thing that I'm disappointed about regarding this game is that it did not get enough attention. Truly a hidden gem, and it is evident that the developers worked hard on the game. That said, I have played through Ray 1 and 2 during the flash game days, so the inside joke is extremely clever coming from the same developer. This is a massive step up, and I hope a sequel is in the works.

So, let me tell you a little story. When i was a little boy in elementery school, my friends and i played a game which we called the "south park vice city game". A little flash game called Ray. Since nobody of us could speak any english, and we all were much too young to understand anything from it, we tried to translate with old school dictionaries. This worked fine, untill our teachers found out what we used the school computers for and we werent allowed to use it for games anymore. I still remember, that we all thought phil collins from genesis made this game and thats why he was in Vice City Stories a few years later. So a few weeks ago, ray came to my mind, i didnt think about this game in years. I went to newgrounds and played it again, it was a real good feeling playing ray again. Kinda nostalgic too, since i left elementary in 2007. There i saw, that the creator of ray made a game on steam. I knew instantly that i have to buy that and what can i say? I really like Repella Fella. One can see, that a very creative mind is behind it, you achieved to take a concept like a nuclear war and make something completly new with it, which i will replay again after writing this review. The characters are fun, the world is very interesting and i really could never anticipate what will happen next. All i can do is wait patiently for part 2! Thank you for good times in my childhood with Ray and for a really good experience with Repella Fella in 2024!

I'm so confused how more people don't know about this game! it's such a underrated gem and in my opinion it's worth the full price! it has everything a good game needs, it has a dark humor, carefully well crafted world, AND actions have consequences. Really good game.

Love the game humour and its over the top brutality, impressive work for solo dev. Despite the cliffhanger, everything is tied up nicely together in regards to how the characters are connected to one another and how your action may affect them in some way in the sequel. So, to whoever out there pondering whether they should give this game a try, you really should. It's lovely, fun, and enjoyable, and it's definitely not because I want to see a sequel, yup, definitely not (I really want to). So here's hoping more people would buy this game and support the dev and we all get to see Repella Fella story to its end.
