Definitely more fun than WARNO. Pace is better, less stress, nice learning path and mission progression. Whish it had multiplayer mode.

We need more cold war RTS like this! It's simpler than other contemporary games out there, yet effective. Particularly enjoying the slower pace which at least to me gives it a more tactical and thoughtful approach. The reinforcement and points system feels more akin to World In Conflict, could be the easy to understand UI. Surprisingly the visuals are pretty good, not exceptional but nice, the detailed effects and physics make it feel alive. For the price this is a great RTS that calls out to the early 2000's, what you see is what you get, no nonsense.

I've tried Eugen’s wargames but found them far too fiddly relying on micromanagement of units. But I have found Regiments to be a more thoughtful take on modern warfare as the pace is slower (though still intense) enabling you to concentrate on the overall approach of the battle. Also the game is much easier to pick up and understand. Really looking forward to the DLC.

An excellent RTS, highly intuitive controls and as someone who prefers single-player skirmish game modes, this game is pretty much perfect. The developer has clearly put a lot of energy into the user experience aspect whilst keeping things slightly abstracted, which means it's less micro-heavy and easier to control whilst not sacrificing anything significant in terms of tactical depth.

If you like games like RTS games this is definitely a game for you. Despite a lot of nitpicking especially in the comments, this game really does stand out vs things like Wargame, warno, steel div etc because it's simple and doesn't try to over complicate things. Another absolute beautiful thing is there is no Meta-Deck-Stacking and the small development team (Very small btw) as already stated that it will not introduce deck-stacking in the future. On a side note I should state that although I like Steel Div, Wargame and Warno, Eugen Systems haven't gotten it right since the RUSE days and this just feels like a throwback to those days.
