✅Very pleasant flow during the game ✅ A bit of challenge ✅ A lot of maps from the Origin version (simplified compared to the original) ✅Daily challenges with the possibility of comparing yourself with the rest of the community ✅beautiful audio-visual setting ✅There is something to maximize ;D ✅ Possibility to play with friends (in normal maps as well as various "party" modes) ✅ chases and more interesting boss fights ✅ nicely designed worlds ✅ music levels and their 8-bit versions are a wonder (especially the one from Eye Of The Tiger) ✅Raids, in which the aim is to complete a given level as quickly as possible ✅ Return to Origins, i.e. several dozen remastered levels from the previous installment ➖ONLY a few music maps (which, admittedly, look brilliant) ➖Requirement to install and create an account on "UPlay" ➖ Cheated "scratch card" mode, an unnecessary gimmick that doesn't introduce anything because the number of prizes (although for finishing the maps) is predefined

Full Comprehensive review: When I was younger, I got the xbox 360 for christmas. My uncle had purchased this game for us. I had never heard or seen it, but I fell in love immediately. My siblings and I would spend hours on this game, coming up with our own names for some of the characters and flying through the levels. This game brought my siblings and I closer. It was the most fun I have had. For nostalgic perouses, I purchased this game here on steam. It is just as good as I remembered. The levels are methodically thought out and the gameplay is lovely. The soundtrack in the game adds so much to the game as well. Rayman Legends feels as if someone took the best parts of gaming and incorporated it into one, fully comprehensive masterpiece. I owe a lot of bonding moments with my siblings to this game. Overall, buy it.

12/10🔥 If someone’s never played a platformer before, you should hand them Rayman Legends! 1 negative before I gush about this game: Ubisoft Connect, and external launchers in general…are the worst! Upon buying a Steamdeck I thought a ton of my games wouldn’t work. They run great, but you need to install Launchers from Ubisoft, EA, etc etc best done in desktop mode…and you won’t get achievements. You’ll then need internet to load launchers pre-game. 👎👎 I digress. (Youtube vids!) Back to praise. Rayman isn’t a great game. It’s 2 great games for the price of 1, with levels from both Legends AND Origins unlocking as you play the game (along with additional characters, etc)!!! There’s no pay-2-play, the game unlocks as you progress. This game is comparable to all the greats. Easily accessible and great couch co-op like Mario? Check. Smooth as butter gameplay and beautiful character/art design and music like Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, DKC and Earthworm Jim? Check. (The art style and comedic touches are 👑) The bonus levels synced to music are amazing and fun. The time trials add optional challenge for advanced players. (By the time you’ve unlocked all levels and time trials it’s massive) And if you originally played the WiiU version and found the controls horrendous (me too), just know this version replaces that mechanic with 1 button press (same as PS and probably Xbox). It’s made to be comfortable when played slow, but a fine tuned machine when played fast! This game is like a “best of” of old gaming and new, of indie game design and triple A. If you haven’t played it you should! And here’s to hoping there’s another great Rayman title in the future 👊🏻🏆
