Great casual arena shooter, but it baffles me how a small indie game like this has a pseudo matchmaking system instead of a dedicated server browser.

Rating 6/10 Intro It's quite bare-bones in terms of offline bot support, but it does manage create a unique identity, while also fleshing out the Instagib mode from Quake 3 Arena. But still, let us use bots on all game modes and you'll have something special to build upon. Positives + Unique vibe. + Good soundtrack. + Good level design. + Steam Workshop support. + Weapons have good impact. + Great aesthetics and graphics. Negatives - Finding online matches is not easy. - Limited offline bots. Out of the five available game modes, only two of them (Deathmatch and Survival) can be played with bots.

The workshop maps alone make this game a must buy. I had a lot of fun finding the craziest maps on the workshop and playing them with my friends.

<3 One of the greatest game soundtracks ever (if not the greatest)! I've literally went to sleep overnight with it playing on loop.... Still not sick of it lol. Amazing fun & memories playing this, even when just playing with bots if no one else is around. I absolutely <3 arena shooters/instagib. It's such a shame high skill ceiling arena games like this died out to dumbed down, no skill trash games like COD that just pander to the stupid masses ;( I ended up getting so good at this game that I got to Master rating, & could compete with the absolute best players (probably to the anger & frustration of most people I played with lol). I originally bought this in a 4 pack to share with some friends. Now just priceless memories :) But this is probably one of my favourite games ever! The gameplay is absolutely tight, but even just soaking up the audio/visual experience is enough to fire it up again & relive some of those nostalgic times.

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work - and their selves - to our judgement. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something - and that is in the discovery and defence of the New. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The New needs friends. Last night I experienced something new: an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto; "anyone can cook." But I realise, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's - who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France! I will be returning to Gusteau's soon - hungry for more.
