Classic jet fighter (Star fighter-type) platform. Cool system of turning kills to cash and letting you build your fortune on skill. Used to play this as a kid. Thank you for bringing back my childhood on steam!

I played this game on windows XP using one of those 900+ games disks that were full of share ware and demos. Loved it then and love it now.

game is fine but i cant switch to the final weapon using a key i have to go from second last weapon and then click onto the last one, and each time i have to press pause otherwise the game refuses to switch very frustrating meaning i virtually cant use the final weapon in the game as you gotta very rapidly switch between weapons

I guess I recommend this, I played the freeware version a lot as a little kid. Hard nostalgia. The port is pretty bad though, the save system is a mess, the graphics dont scale properly. But on sale is a great deal.

I played the Shareware version of this game back in about 1994/1995 and absolutely loved it. Without a way to pay for the full version, I finished up the shareware version while on holiday with my friend Nikos in greece, and then never really played it again, except the occasional replay of the shareware version... Fast forward to 2023, and I'm enjoying the 2015 revamp, made for newer computers, and it's every bit as good as it was back in the day. It's a solid, uncomplicated shooter, with a satisfying progression, great graphics and good music. It's a solid example of an early-mid 1990s SHMUP pre-bullet-hell-era games that swept in from Japan. The game plays superbly still, but does require a little bit of grinding in the early game to get some better weps, especially using the abort-mission exploit that lets you farm one or two levels for credits.. But once you've got your legs under you, the game plays out well, with a steadily ramping level of difficulty, resulting in some fun final levels where you just have to take your lumps as you power through wave after wave of enemies to take on the final boss. Provided you haven't had too many lumps knocked out of you, the final boss is a satisfying dodge-fest to take down. Challenging but not unfair. A great game, even for people who haven't been fans since the 90s. Pick it up for a few pounds and enjoy the 90s vibe. Also check out the easter eggs for some additional fun.
