Still One Of The Greatest Touring Car Sims in 2024 ?... you bet it is PROS: * Runs well on modern systems, runs well on old systems, no need for any updates or patches, it just works. Windows 11 runs flawlessly, anyone with a half decent pc is going to push this at 4k and beyond * The Ai. The Ai in this game is second to none, not always perfect but probably the best you could ever race against. The game has a difficulty slider which goes up to 110% , put this on 100 + and you will be pushed hard, desperately trying to catch the leading pack while intensely defending your position from the very determined ai nipping on your heels. Theres nothing quite like it. * Base game & all the DLC is great value. Theres a lot of content here. I highly recommend buying it all , just don`t bother with plaza raceway free dlc , it does not seem to work. * The Audio. The sound is great , the cars sound good, the sound of the wind, stones chipping your car , the roar of the ai on your ass , the whole noise in cockpit is a combination of excitement & terror, headphones is best. * The Mods. There is still a fair amount of mods about for Race 07 & still has an active modding community , check Overtake( fomerly race department.) If i could recommend at least one then it has to be AL Super Touring Seasons. These incredible iconic cars will bring back fond memories of the Toca 2 Touring Cars , it`s too good. CONS: * Doesn`t have a day/night cycle, no night racing, does it matter, no. * No official online servers no more So is Race 07 worth your time in 2024. Does it hold up compared to more modern sims. Well i think its successor Raceroom beats it out, but for the value, content & of course mods you should definitely own it, own both is what i say. Verdict : Still A King

Absolute cinema. I played this game during my childhood and I never regret playing again, over, over and over again. If you want to have the vibe of the good racing games from 2007/2008 (Windows Vista period), then try it. Absolutely.

The game rocks in 2024,with a bit googling it runs amazing and few mods easy to get you will enjoy,i own all SimBin racing sims and often run them one after the other,RACE 07 has the best career mode and for its age looks great and feels amazing,very complete game,get it costs as much as a coffee and a croissant at a cheap cafe,the tires loosing grip sound will get you hooked

I definitely recommend it to all TCC fans. • PnP support of Wheel Bases • Understandable FFB and non-sliding phisics • Cockpit View • Pretty cool AI. Side by side battle super fun • Great set of cars and tracks.
