Overall, it's good, I guess. ... but how a game as technically and mechanically simple as this still can have issues is beyond me... First, it's mostly beautiful and well done. The cats are absolutely adorable whether they sleep or play around . The cloth textiles, background graphics etc. look nice and welcoming. The music is fine. The colors, as bright as they are, aren't obnoxiously mismatched (as it was my main concern when I bought this); no, it actually looks quite nice. [*]... and then there are the bu tt-ugly humans... especially in the story mode. Sorry to the person who put in effort to draw them, but they're ugly as he ll. No wonder these people worship cats, since worshipping humans in this in-game world would be like dabbling in demonology. The MAD magazine was able to draw people more humane and they overdrew them on pupose... [*]My next complaint are the loading screens in story mode, which might seem petty since they're barely seen for more than 1 second, but imagine an image constantly flickering up for a split second. After. Every. Single. Dialogue/exposition scene... which are also quite short, so you see them a da mn lot. A simple fade-out/fade-in would've been easier on the eyes than the seemingly erratic change of images. I would also rather look at a nice loading screen for a handful of seconds instead of being flashbanged by an image for merely a second. [*] Absoluely unforgivable is that a game with such low system requirements on a decent PC does sometimes have such an atrocious frame rate! I had nothing running in the background or any of the other common reasons for such a problem, but this game still stuttered. No. Just no. [*]Especially for the price of 20€! (convert into your currency of choice) A 5€ game with low system requirements and frame rate issues is barely acceptable, but for 20€ and only requiring 4 GB RAM as well as a processor and GPU you could find in a bargain bin this is bad. As I said: Overall, the game is good . Don't expect A+ design, but you can expect nice gameplay. The important parts (i.e. the board game aspect, as well as the cats) look good and are enjoyable... but the rest is either trying my patience, an eyesore, or both. Let's hope it gets a few much needed updates. Maybe one day this game deserves its admittedly acceptable price tag as in "acceptable for the gaming part" which is just dragged down by the technical issues.

Let me start by saying I LOVE this game. I love the board game and its so nice to have an online version to play with when none of my friends want to play. This adaptation is adorable, the cat creator is cute, and its faithful to the board game. My biggest dislike is how online matchmaking is handled. I am fine with the fact that it places you with AI if you cant find a group to play with, but I find a group maybe one in ten matches and I just cant fathom the game is that unplayed. and you have to wait the full six minutes to see if others join before it would let you play. And if you leave a game with just AI players, you still lose Karma which feels unfair. I Feel it should only penalize you if you leave a game with other human players. otherwise you are simply losing karma for playing against the computer. But regardless, I still love this adorable adaptation and hope more people download so we can play!

Great game made by great developers at Monster Couch. Based on a board game it's quick and fun. Works well on Steam Deck as well.

I enjoyed the puzzles and the game is very cute, but it is abit overpriced for a game that takes 4 hours to beat. Also 60% of the achivements are finicky stuff you gotta go back and replay and that is just not fun. 3 achivments also seem bugged as I did the things the text for them say without being rewarded them, but since I'm not gonna bother going back and do the other achivments I don't care about the bugged ones. So yeah don't get it if you care about achivments, but do get it if you like purring cute cats on your game board :D .

We played the board game version as a family, once. Then I discovered it was on Steam... and we bought 4 copies of it. Love the game. The "master quilter challenges" are a great way to mix up the formulas, so you have to think differently to achieve the goal. Really worked my brain, in a casually addicting sort of way.
