Psychonauts grew up, got a degree in psychology, but still shows up to work wearing mismatched socks and shouting, the brain is a playground! That’s Psychonauts 2 — a sequel that takes everything wild and weird from the first game and cranks it up to 11. This time, you’ll dive into minds that look like art exhibits, theme parks, and fever dreams hosted by Salvador Dalí and your subconscious fears. Levels are tighter, ideas are brighter, and emotional baggage is still everywhere — basically like adulthood. The humor lands perfectly, balancing wit and absurdity, while the story reminds you that behind every eccentric thought is a real person just trying to hold it together. Psychonauts 2 feels like visiting a childhood friend who’s matured but hasn’t lost their sense of wonder and who still invites you to do something completely insane.

This game is high budget cinema on the same level as Dreamworks, Pixar and any other studios who made groundbreaking animation in the last six years. This game has the craziest art, music, scenario, game design choices for the entire genre of platformer games. This game has a unique perspective on mental health issues with recognizable humor from Double Fine studio (thank you, Tim Schaefer). Absolute love and respect for devs, original backers of crowdfunding campaign and also publishers (Starbreeze Studios and Microsoft) who (all of them) helped deliver this project as a finished title!

1. This is a comedic, psycological and a platformer type of game. 2. Boss fights are easy but you will die a lot when jumping on platforms. 3. This game is completely bug-free. 4. I think the story is good. 5. This game have lots of collectables to complete. 6. This game takes less than 30 hours to complete ( Main story + some side activities) 7. Would recommend buying this game on sale. 8. For me this was 8.5/10.

Loved it!! From the start to the ending, this game kept me invested with a good gameplay, overall design and story. The comedic moments were very funny and the final act quite intense. I highly recommend playing it, and if you have the time, playing the first Psychonauts game to get into even more in its Universe and get some of the references is also a good thing. 10/10 for me! As i'm writing this, the game is currently on sale, so I just wanted to pop in and say that if you're thinking of getting this game??? Do it. I'm not really INTO Platformers like a majority of my friends are, even 3D ones. They just never have that specific weight or mechanics to them that'd keep me hooked enough to play for a long time. Not to mention I'm incredibly picky on my videogames nowadays as I'm trying to avoid the olden ways of picking up a game and just never playing it for a century. Psychonauts 1 honestly bulldozed these preferences so hard, the minute I finished it, I just had to get the second entry. And trust me when I say that Psychonauts 2 is an utter overhaul of the three S's: Style, Story, and Substance. I can't promise you'll like EVERYTHING about it, as I've come across those who still find the collectible system to be straining and some characters not having their moments in the spotlight, But I think if you're looking for an intro into the 3D platformer genre and don't want to go old school from the get go, you won't go wrong by choosing the Psychonauts series! Don't worry too much about the 60 dollar price either, as this game goes on sale quite a lot. Course, you'll have to wait for that sale, but hey! All the more reason to play Psychonauts 1 so you can prep for the experience!
