alright, this is for those who are interested in VTubing, i'll go over the basics and explain the general process. all of this is coming from myself, where i'm a considerably larger streamer with a decent amount of experience, and not everyone will have the same outcome as me, so take it with a grain of salt. -DO I RECOMMEND PRPRLIVE-:....Sort of. what does that mean though? well, prpr is overall a very good product, especially for free. it works, and there are options you can use to set hotkeys for expressions, change lighting, and basic things. by basic i mean barebones basic. you can place a greenscreen behind your model, set different parameters, and adjust "physics" (booba, yes). i've only really used the DLC version of prpr, but i can say the tracking is rather nice, even with glasses. there will be some issues when you look downwards, no matter what program you use, so be cautious going into the DLC expecting anything different. you'll likely have to exaggerate some facial expressions. unfortunately, that's about where anything positive ends. the program is littered with issues and youll never get a response from a developer. the best place you'll have as a resource is the prpr discord, where hopefully another user that has a good understanding of the program has run into a similar situation. support is useless, dont forget it is NOT catered towards English speakers. some of the already small amount of options available in prpr are relatively useless, and youll never touch ever. one of the main things you can click on is a gift option to gift someone from bilibili a prpr DLC, or something. there's a rigid body setting that i guarantee 99% of people that use prpr have no idea what it is, and there are tons of overall unnecessary options available that just add clutter and confusion. its not just UI based that makes prpr bad, it seems like they're 20 years behind everything. in comparison to something like vtube studio, it has NO plugins. that is MASSIVE if youre getting into streaming, and having those interactions will give you more personality. not only that, but even the extremely simple task of pinning an item to your model, you are limited in tons of different ways when deciding to use prpr. there are glitches with it running with OBS that i'm sure taking a look at the community hub you'll notice rather quickly, and you'll be left to your own devices to figure out your own hotfix. so... why recommend this? there's only thing prpr does right, and unfortunately i don't think it's intentional, but likely due to the lackluster and bland configuration limit, it runs very well on most to all PCs. when you have 10 different programs talking to eachother and broadcasting, there's a likely chance youll get lag no matter what you do if your computer can't keep up. it maintains a fluid look to your model for the most part unless youre doing something more intensive at the time, in which case you might have a slow down on your model, but it works, simple as that. it isnt great, but its honest work. i strongly, STRONGLY recommend, if you want to get into vtubing, to try out a program like VTubeStudio first and see if your computer can handle it. or try out another program, there are more out there, although VTS seems to be the go to where you can get the most bang for your buck. but, if you decide to go with prpr, it isnt the worst choice you can make. my experiences are not universal, so if you have doubts, feel free to try it out yourself, it is totally free, and there's no harm in testing. TL;DR: okay cheap option, there are tons better out there. try it out, but i strongly urge getting vtube studio if your computer can run it.

Eye tracking is still weird at best (to the point where the DLC is *worse* somehow*, but its still the best vtuber face tracker you can get.
