Resident Evil in VR. A good game where not good weapon management compensates with atmosphere and horror elements. A terrifying zombie game. Short but gives you a good VR experience.

Pros: 1. Classic Horror Atmosphere: The game perfectly captures the survival horror vibe, reminiscent of early *Resident Evil* titles. The eerie hotel, filled with undead and tension-building sound design, keeps you on edge throughout the experience. 2. Solid Mechanics and Interaction: Controls are smooth, item management is intuitive, and combat feels satisfying. The game excels in blending puzzles with clues, environmental interaction, and combat, making it stand out in the genre. 3. Effective Resource Management: Managing health, ammo, and flashlight batteries is straightforward yet challenging, maintaining the tension without unnecessary complexity. 4. Excellent Sound Design: The soundtrack and sound effects create an immersive and unsettling experience. The audio design plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall dread and tension. 5. Good Value for Money: Despite the relatively short playtime of around three hours, the game is reasonably priced, offering a solid amount of entertainment for its cost. Cons: 1. Weak Voice Acting and Emotional Delivery: The main character, Emily, and other NPCs suffer from lackluster voice acting. Dialogue often feels stiff and poorly timed, breaking immersion and weakening key narrative moments. 2. Immersion Breaks: The inability to interact with most objects in the environment, along with intrusive achievement notifications, can detract from the immersive experience. Additionally, the inventory system occasionally clips through the environment, disrupting the overall feel. 3. Lack of Innovation: While the game is well-executed, it doesn’t introduce much new to the zombie survival genre. Players familiar with similar titles might find the experience too familiar. 4. Simple Storyline: The narrative is straightforward and lacks depth. While the setting and atmosphere are well-crafted, the story itself may leave some players wanting more. Overall Rating: 7.5/10 Propagation: Paradise Hotel may not revolutionize the zombie survival horror genre, but its solid mechanics, atmospheric design, and effective use of classic horror elements make it a standout title among its peers. Despite some flaws in voice acting and immersion, it’s a worthwhile experience, especially for fans of traditional survival horror games.

Very good VR horror game, worked well with my HP Reverb G2, the graphics quality is not outstanding but the gameplay is smooth and did not experience any glitch or bug with interaction, the game atmosphere is immersive and scary and the increasing difficulty in combat is well balanced. The only thing I didn't like much is the same zombies you killed coming back to life if you encounter them again, considering that you also have limited ammo I would like that the zombies I kill stay dead! Nevertheless I would recommend this game.

Masterpiece of a horror, one of the scariest games I've played. This game is thrilling from start to finish without a single dull moment. Executed perfectly and I'd say the length was great too. I basically explored all of the map and the game rewards you for that. Enemies in this game are relentless and surprising. They are not a bunch of idiots and they scare you to death with that delicious audio design. They can randomly come to check where that noise is coming from if you make any. There's a pistol and a shotgun. Pistol is weak and shotgun is very effective because it decapitates, rendering them ineffective, because enemies return to life in this game after a time period. Cool and not so frustrating puzzles, I liked the balance of this game a lot. Everything feels perfectly aligned and thought for. You have to doing those headshots if you wanna survive in this game. Boss fights were well done though scarce but they all fit in the area and the story. Great graphics, good sound and level design, what not to like here I don't know. I hope to see a sequel for this. 10/10

Its an okay story game, a bit short with quite an abrupt ending. It did a great job of creating a scary atmosphere. I was slightly letdown with the jank of the monsters, trailer made it seem like they had actual physics, but they were terryfying nonetheless, there were quite a bit of obvious jumpscares, or maybe they were "obvious", because I was expecting anything to happen at any point due to the scary atmosphere.
