If you're familiar with Deus Ex games you will find Project: Snowblind very simmilar to those in terms of Weapon progression and Augmentations (altough Project Snowblind is WAY more linear). In fact this was supposed to be a Deus Ex game called "Deus Ex: Clan Wars", following Invisible War. But lets cut the crap and get to the actual thing, Project: Snowblind is REALLY good, it hardly Had any dull moments and its Safe to say its Simply an "action movie" game. Everything happens very fast and the story progression Has no pauses, no long monologues, the cutscenes are straight to the point and i loved it. The protagonist (Nathan Frost) dosent talk much and does more which i think is a good protagonist for an action game. The amount of Weapons and tools at your disposal is INSANE and this game holds one of my favorite weapons of all time, an assault rifle that shoots nanobots that Seek targets, its so goddamn powerful a Boss you will encoutner later in the game does not stand any chance agianst it and it rocks. Project: Snowblind is just one of those games that wants the player to Simply have fun, theres no difficulty settings, the game is fairly easy and you get a ton of ammo and health troughout the game...and that's amazing? The game is really short because of how fun it is but i cant complain. The story is alright there isn't much characters talking but that's how it should be, theres no plot twists nor any large story breakers its just Simply good guys vs bad guys and its FUN. The only problem i Had with the game is that it crashed from time to time (around 4 times maybe) but that was not a problem what'soever...so i can proudly say the game deserves a 9/10, Frost out.

Where do I begin.. Right off the bat, I want to say that I recommend this game and that it's good for what it is, and that's a short, linear shooter with some surprisingly interesting takes on certain mechanics. This game was originally supposed to be a Deus Ex title and that's immediately obvious when you see not only the graphical style, but also the different possible approaches to missions and the plethora of gadgets at your disposal. The story and characters are interesting enough. Nothing too crazy or innovative but they get the job done pretty well and keep you interested. The shooting feels fine and the mechanics in general are well implemented and intuitive. My main gripe with this game is that it feels rushed, short and the amount of content it has is disproportionate to its length. From the moment you start playing to the moment you reach the final mission, you keep getting both gadgets and abilities to play around with. This would be great if not for the game's length the developer's removal of RPG elements. You are left with a shell of an RPG game that was ostensibly half-assedly twisted into a full-on first person shooter after it was decided it wouldn't be a good fit in the Deus Ex universe. For example, you have the option of being stealthy, using cloaking, electricity, super vision, shields, like ten weapons, etc, but in the end it's still a "go straight and shoot everything that moves" type of game and you can easily finish it just by using the first weapon you see and without any abilities. Furthermore, since this is just a linear first person shooter, I don't understand why they felt the need to not allow traditional saves and instead opted to create a system similar to the early Resident Evil games where you have to find a save room and manually save. In this type of game it's just tedious and annoying and does not enrich the experience in any way. This is definitely a flawed game but I still think it's pretty good and it definitely has that mid 2000s charm and cozy feeling. You can complete the game in a few sittings so these major flaws can't make the game overstay its welcome.

Nostalgia Pure The time I played this with my best friends and my dad on the PlayStation 2 was one of the greatest experiences. The game has so many ways to play through the story in different ways, my god. It offers a solid 5-7 hours of gameplay, though the story is almost nonexistent and pretty bland. But I love the nostalgia this game gives me. If you want to play this game, don’t tab out, or the game will crash.

Apart from the frequent crashes on modern systems it's still 6h worth of fun and guns blazing - and Deus Ex fans will feel right at home with all the tools and augmentations they give you!

Suprisingly good FPS with a wide variety of options. The story is good old "good guys save the world", but I liked it, to be honest. I STAND WITH LIBERTY COALITION. My only problem is, that the game gives you a wide variety of options, but not many reasons to use some of them. Also different paths are there, but sometimes they just don't make much sense. Short and sweet, buy for the full price. 8/10
