This is such a anatstic game. I was so legitemately blown away by the frenetic, fast paced and adrenaline pumping action; and enevironments upon which you fight are just absolutely gorgeous and beautiful with just amazing set peices. The real star of the show is how all of this comes into play with music that just makes the combat and story feel epic and amazing. The story is pretty solid, even though Mirai, one of teh two protagonists, is kind of annyoying; but thats the only real downside. You can tell this is an indie project made by people who loved Mecha franchises like Armored Core and Zone of the Enders; and that love shows through in its immaculate and loving presentation. At the price point it's at, it's very reasonable and will blow your expectations away. We need more people playing this game because it's genuinely amazing and not too long either.

Do you like Ace Combat? Do you like Gundam? if you answered yes to either or even BOTH of these then you'll probably like this game. Have fun, pilots.

Bought it before AC6, played a bit looking for something like AC4/5, but it's more like Gundam games, and lacks customizations. I can't say "don't get it" but rather buy it, play a bit, and refund or keep playing.

Indie games are improving in quality and charging fair price, and triple A games are getting shittier and more expansive everyday. This is a gem for those of us who are into Japanese style mechs. There is the indie scuff associates with this game, yes. However, there are a lot more passion in this game than anything Bandai will ever pump out. When was the last time Bandi Namco did 6 degree freedom for flight models? You ever seen them add small episodes of mini games in between missions that doesn't involve the mech? The fact is that triple A companies are too big to succeed and indie qualities will only improve as game engine takes away a lot of the heavy lifting from indie devs. Indie WILL be the future. For he game itself, as I mentioned earlier, Indie scuff is there. Controls could use a lot of improvements. -if they add in roll left/right, they will make the 6 degree movement WAY more engaging. -weapon controls simply allowing key mapping for direct usage of pylon 3-6 and main hand, off hand binds to left and right click will allow the highspeed fights to be even more intense. Story wise, I think it has the typical Asian naive narrative going on. Doesn't matter if it's big company that tries to be safe like Gundam, or small indie devs like Project Wingman, they have this very weird obsession that Mercenaries or third parties are the good guys. In real world practice, these are the most evil beings exist on our planet. They serve as a proxy military for governments around the globe to kill and commit war crimes for money. These beings have no morals nor do they care about anything beyond money. Another common theme I see is that, their stances are very weak when it comes to war. They want to explore the topic of war, but they are unwilling to settle with the fact that the more awesome your weapon is, the more people are going to get killed by it. No one is getting saved in war, people are getting killed in war. A bomb goes off, and the man once your best friend and brother in arms will turn into pink mist. There no room for guilt for war. If that's an issue for anyone, do not sign up or be part of any armed forces. The moment anyone pilots a killing machine, someone has to die. Everything else, I have no complaint. It has a lot more passion and it radiates excitement when you sink your teeth into this game. Designs, vocabulary, style...they all pay homage to many pioneers came before them, both real world and fictional. 8/10 Very solid.

A compact game, could use a bit more fleshing out but the core mechanics is there. Reminds me of old gen armored core fights, would appreciate a assembly function. Need Akula-3's auto-shotgun on more missions. The storyline and character conversation is more gundam/ace combat meme than actual story tbh, never much expectation to begin with tho with the pricing Would prefer keeping the weapon wheel less dense, decoy/shield and funnel can be relegated to keyboard binding instead of clogging the wheel, making choosing mg less difficult overall, pretty neat
