My bread and butter are survival/base building games and I have a particular fondness for tribal/community builder focused ones so I was very excited to see this game. Pros: - Not a unique concept but a very fun twist and what it does it does well - Pretty easy to pick up - Task Management is very rim-world reminiscent and the AI is actually pretty decent - Probably one of the better takes I've seen on more of a tribal aspect but still trying to find the secret sauce that makes this one stand out. I will say again its pretty comprehensive for early game compared to other similar titles I've seen and can easily put in 50 hours of experimenting. Cons: -Difficulty level can increase rapidly. I get making it challenging but getting some of the later tech requires specific requirements like a certain amount of intelligence and skill in that branch and its nearly impossible to get to that level with someone before they die of fighting or old age towards the end of the tech tree. Mid Game 50 raiders plus a giant ape showed up to attack my settlement and I had to get creative on how to tackle them without losing half my people. Current game Im in I took a break because I had a raiding party of 90 show up against my village that could barely field 30 reasonable defenders - Plague happens quickly after attacks from enemies - which can be really annoying with these 80+ bodies that pile up and take forever to burn through. I've also noticed the enemy can break but never retreats so that oculd be a good option to help cut down on the bodie clean up afterwards - Old age hits in the 50s which isn't bad but does feel like it can happen pretty quickly. Great time sink and lots of fun to be had, but definitely areas for improvement and opportunity as is normal in EA

I do really like this game, the building of the shelters is confusing it would be better to just have the shape of the building and enable the expansion because you don't know which way it will be until you have temporarily built it, literally just for feedback when placing the beds for instance you have no idea which position they will be placed until you have placed them (a lot of deleting required) could there be some indication which way subjects lie in the beds for instance (I sound like I have OCD I definitely don't) i just like ummm like conformity oh dear laughing out loud. The tutorials don't explain the importance of making sure someone has an expertise in each area to enable the progression for instance hunting has to be over 150 for an individual before an invention is allocated to one of the team. I have restarted this game 3 times and now feel I have a better understanding. I don't know all the buzz words like devs (at 60yrs of age this threw me for a while) I just know that this game is really good, its not stressful its interesting and above all I am happy to play this after work and I look forward to playing it. It makes you think about how you can achieve the necessary levels for each player. I do try and support early access games I was nearly put off by Coral Island another game I really like but the way I play they cant keep up with me so waiting for updates is tedious if its months! Thank you though I do have a very stressful job at times but I look forward to playing this game.

Game is like a mixture of Rimworld, Dawn of man and Going medieval Animation = 3 out of 5 Graphics =3 out of 5 UI = 2.5 out of 5 Content = 4 out 5 Animals = 5 out 5 I think the game has a lot of potential and judging from the latest update I feel like they are headed to the right direction. I hope the game has more thrill * where capturing and hunting animals requires trap or tools. (maybe luring to a pithole or poison food) * Melee battle are just to simple ( maybe add Weapon advantage, terrain, traps, formation) What I really want is to be able to be creative. like if I want to kill a single enemy I would probably lure that enemy in a campfire to catch them on fire, lure them into a river to drown if they dont know how to swim or dig a hole to trap them and starve them to death. cause at the moment solo playthru is not possible

So excited the full release finally has dropped! I got hooked on the demo and was bummed that it had to be taken down leading up to the official release, so I was counting the days then hours then minutes until release! It's really fun and like rimworld except....less insane? There are still bugs, but the dev is really nice and has been attempting to remediate bugs as they appear ever since putting the game in early access (via the demo). I dont know why, but I flippin' love this game and it's so chill and fun! I just encountered a bug where I can't give medicine to someone who is sick so I'm thinking they're not going to make it, but that's fair, it's a hard life living primitively. Anyway, super recommend if you like city builders and enjoy the management style of rimworld. But again, it feels *very* different from rimworld, clanfolk, etc. One of my favorite games currently.

Great setting and depth in this one! This is Rimworld-ish but goes a layer deeper on things like work assignments and priorities. I highly recommend working through the tutorial before you get started to avoid frustration. Give this game the proper time to understand the complexities it offers, I have never seen a civilization sim with this much attention to detail, and that will probably turn off the faint of heart, but trust me, it's worth the time investment to really get a true Primitive evolution sim.
