I love this game. In nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti ameeen. For San de Ville and for Holy Kremuva! Can only recommend with Polish language obviously, you have to appreciate and savour this beatiful language. Loved the Vulgators too. Will try to finish the collectibles with time. A truly, truly wonderful mockumentary.

This game is actually not that much fun, but it's so weird that it was worth a full playthrough from me. The gameplay is okay, but is extremely linear. After awhile, you realize every quest is essentially "go here, go there, answer the phone, etc.". The combat is simplistic, yet satisfying. The weapons don't really feel that much different from each other in the long run. The writing, voice acting, and humor are all extremely weird. I feel like a lost is lost in translation, but also even a native Polish person would scratch their head sometimes.

Orlok is a relatable protagonist, and this game contains the greatest voice acting ever to be heard with your ears. Side note: Many of the NPCs sound like Squidward.

It definitely has a different tone than Heavy Duty did, but I still really enjoy the game. Oddly, the full release runs a lot worse than the Demo, one reason being the balloons used in the game. No idea why, I assume they're an 8K Megatexture or something because they immediately bog my computer down to about 10 fps whenever they exist (specifically Mortimer's shop in the graveyard). I kind of preferred the storyline in Heavy Duty to this and I'm assuming this was rewritten at some point during development. It originally made sense why there was this odd Mockumentary style filming going on all the time. This however never explains any of that, leaving it as sort of just one of the many unexplained oddities of the world. Unless I guess Orlok just brought a faithful documentary film crew with him from Hell to film his antics. I dunno? If you are an achievement hunter, know that getting all the graffiti is gonna be tedious. They've hidden the stuff in some ridiculous spots, and if you use the default gamma level, you won't ever see them. They are hidden in literal black rooms, so I would suggest going back to each house with the gamma cranked and heading to any of those rooms after you've completed everything. This is a simulator game done right though. Has all the elements but sort of puts them in this hostile Postal-esque world of violence and mayhem. The game doesn't suffer from many huge bugs, but there are definitely grammatical and spelling errors here and there. Something to expect when translating from Polish to English though. I'd get this on sale as I did, but for 25% off it was more than worth it to enjoy this strange world again.
