I bought this because once upon a time, I was made aware by my psychologists that my genetics were blessed with the curse of being autistic and having ADHD and I'm currently unmedicated because my doctor is on vacation. It kinda fixed me and I studied for 13 hours two days before my exam which I probably failed but now I'm time blind again and my maths exam is in 4 days and I haven't studied yet and I'm writing this review instead it's so over for me the duck is very cute though and I enjoy having a farm full of hot chocolate and candy canes during winter season. This is the best pomodoro timer so far Update: Yup I didn't pass the exam but this + Elvanse 40mg works great

The idea of a work-background game is tempting, but it has an unfortunate tendency to just becoming the main focus INSTEAD of work - and PomoFarm manages to avoid it while still being fun and engaging enough to stay on my desktop for days at a time. You CAN'T do anything while you're in focus mode - no checking upgrades, no interacting with the environment, not even mindlessly clicking the menus. So your only option is actually going back to work, BUT you know there will be a sweet reward at the end of it: picking crops, selling, planting, etc etc. that makes it easier to stick to the actual timer instead of just closing it out of boredom. A lot of people complain that the progress is slow, upgrades are expensive, the money goes away... but in my opinion that is kind of the point. The game is meant to be useful to you for a long time - weeks, maybe months - so making it easily beatable would defeat its purpose. So I enjoy the slow progression and I look forward to more days with Tomato and his friends on my second screen! (wouldn't mind some future updates or expansions tho. Different farm you can buy? Decorations? Costumes for Tomato? Wormpod, I am on my knees!)

Amazing Pomodoro timer! PomoFarm looks great, has minimal distractions, good settings, and cute cosy graphics! It has really solid replayability, even when one gets most of the achievements, it still feels satisfying to play! The focus and break timer can be customised, but are defaulted to the Pomodoro standard. The window can be made to be tiny, so it can sit in the corner of a screen. The farming is very fun and simple enough that one doesn't need to think too much about it, perfect for engaging while on break, but allowing one to focus while being productive. Out of all the productivity games/applications I've tried, PomoFarm is my favourite so far!

pomofarm is possibly the cutest pomodoro timer to ever exist! cute duck, cute plants, cute weather, cute achievements... i really appreciate that the farming can be automated with a couple of upgrades. i can see myself continuing to use pomofarm because there are no penalties if u mess up, it's so simple to use, and it brings a bit of joy to my studying :) my only complaint is that there's no trading cards/badge. or irl stickers...or irl plushies. this game is so stinking cute, i need merch to drop immediately pls.

I haven't used it much but I think it works better than the online pomodoro timers probably because I can work on Tomato's little farm as my break. I like how you can change the times on the timers and you can pause them which helps me when I need more time or get distracted. I love how it has a kind of pause button between timers so you don't miss your chance to actually play the game (e.i water, plant, sell). It has helped so far with homework. My only wish is that there was an option for nature sounds within the game, like birds chirping, some wind, or ambient noises like that.
