A unique game, I love it. Nice challenging but fun gameplay! Breach and conquer. A fresh take on the top-down shooter genre with an emphasis on tactics and approaches that forces you to make split second decisions. Neutralize criminals, rescue civilians and defuse bombs in solo or with a friend in co-op. A really great tactical action game that requires some strategy and planning. Map layout is the same but enemy placement and item placement differs from game to game, so no playthrough is the same. Kinda nice and refreshing that it doesn't get repetitive. I really enjoyed this game. Fun, short but really great. Has alot of replayablity. I wish we had more of this. I'd say it's definitely worth it on sale, for full price of 20€, not really. You have about 6-7 hours of gameplay to get through the story and to 100% the game. Has more to offer since solo gameplay and co-op gameplay is alot different in how it plays. Co-op is almost always more coordinated and solo requires you to do more since you control your A.I partner with manual commands.

If there's ever a second game, I'll definitely pick it up, but that price better change cause $25 is insane (5-10 is perfect); glad I got it on sale :) I mainly play on my SteamDeck, and I gotta say the AI can be ridiculously quick at times; some balancing is definitely needed. On PC, I can match the AI's insane reaction time, but I think the developers did that on purpose, as suspects can be unpredictable. I think they should've gone with a different approach, where some suspects shoot on sight, and some actually have a conscience. I wasn't following it, but the story seemed cool. I loved the whole 80's vibe, but I definitely would've paid more attention if they had VAs (voice actors). I guess they were on a budget. I know I sound like I'm complaining, but I truly enjoyed this game. I wish it was in early access so these issues could be fixed, but I'm pretty sure the devs have moved on, though I can't complain since I snagged this for $3. If there's ever a second instalment with a polished UI, AI, and gameplay, I'll definitely pick it up. I wish my brother or friends would pick this up cause I hate ordering around my AI partner, but bro is clutch sometimes.

Police Stories ”Tactical Top Down Shooter” A fun tactical top down shooter that is fairly brutal to learn at the start. In the beginning you will die a lot as its very realistic in terms of being shot, you have maybe 1 or 2 shots and you're done. Great AI partner if you use him correctly. Good little story and characters. Co-op play mode is available too. Plenty of weapons and non lethal gadgets. The goal is arrest rather than kill for maximum points and make sure you have a reason to shoot if you need too. Trail-Dave ”I'll be at your place in a few – just make sure to put on your cleanest uniform and maybe take a shower. You've been staying home for days, bet you smell like garbage right now“

you know that saying "looks like a duck, quacks like a duck"? well in the case of this game, it looks a bit....familar. you may buy this expecting to be playing another Hotline Miami but i'm telling you now this duck may look and quack like a duck but this duck has a Ferrari engine and an addiction to opiates. this game is the complete antithesis of Hotline Miami. you play super slow and careful or you just fucking die. i probably died more in the first level of this game than i ever have died in the first level of anything that isn't meant to troll you. that being said tho, once you start to understand the mechanics of this game its a really good time. don't ever try to play this game like it's hotline miami. i give it 10 quacks out of 10

SO while I would recommend it discounted from my experience so far, and the intuition that this would be most fun with a friend, i'll warn that the campaign AI partner, regardless of the mode, is monstrously bad and I've had a better time trying to complete the levels on my own after he's downed as there's no feeling of waste there. For Instance, If I tell him to cover a hallway, while I'm vulnerable; it doesn't matter because the enemy AI is fixed to shoot the moment we are in line of sight - one of two scenarios consequence; The enemy shoots and kills my partner (then most likely me as well), because the partner has to get off the drop your weapon line before anything else, OR my AI doesn't engage the target at all because its not in *his* line of sight, followed by dying to one shot b/c I am. Just a precaution, and get it while its on sale, its not worth the full tag
