Aug. 2024

A lot more involved than its predecessor with art, character, ability, and content expansions. A little chaotic in the beginning as a result, but overall more to look forward to and monitor. I don't feel like I can fully idle it just yet without putting more effort into setup, so I am curious what other options I have to unlock.

While many game mechanics elude me, like what even decoration star power is, or why hairballs are worth money, I do know that D+C keys held together match the knights speed for ez clicking Edit: game seems to crash frequently into the "late game". Still worth $5 of fun. Can't wait for Plantera 3, Unicorn of Truth.

This "game" is really, really cute, but you don't actually play. Basically, once you get your garden going, you just let it run. You check back in periodically, buy whatever new items you can, and then wait. The most you do is scroll and click your mouse. You can just sit there repeatedly clicking your mouse, gather fruit, bonk enemies with a mallet, etc., but you don't have to. The game will progress even when you ignore it, so if you're looking for more interaction this is not the game for you. That being said, it really is adorable and I looked forward to each new animal I could add to my garden.

Plantera 2: Golden Acorn is the sequel to Plantera. The game is a very cute clicker and idle farming game, where you build and manage your garden. Gameplay and content has been improved compared to Plantera, with more types of animals and plants. The graphics and sound quality is good. After upgrading most of your garden the game becomes very relaxing, watching your beautiful garden and all the cute animals. Easy to get 100% achievements I highly recommend Plantera 2: Golden Acorn.
