A really great game, it's under rated, wish there were more like it, and more people playing it.

Possibly the most underrated sandbox game in existence. No not nearly perfect, yes its dated, and yes the story probably has some bugs. But the creation system in the game is complex and amazing and there are few like it.

I quite like this game, Honestly I have known it was not going to be "finished" for several years but even still I have had a lot of fun with it, Sure now its free and I bought the game when it first showed up on steam but really I got what I payed for. It was disappointing when they scrapped some stuff, but it still has a lot to do in it. Overall I would encourage people to try it, especially now that its free to play

WIth 60 hours I gotta say I sorta had a good time, im not too hard to please, and the amount of freedom with building and even changing the landscape was really nice for it's time. but realistically they PROBABLY never fixed the part where that scientist FUCKING dissapears after you drop her off at this 1 place, and later you have to talk to her to continue the main story line... but you can't because she fell off the fekking planet and at like what is probably the 60% mark of the full main story campaign too, RIGHT when it's getting good after you've found the Mars people were getting somewhere with their town but they were starving or something, elitist jerks. It would be lovely if modders fixed that, in fact imma go look *some time later* SO I have found no where that they fixed that after you leave her there and after you talk to antaro, agnes copperfield will be AT the base... which makes the storyline for the main campaign UNPLAYABLE IF IT WASN'T UNLESS THEY DID AND JUST DIDN'T SAY SO ... so, 6/10: 1 point because I "CAN" play it, 2 points because you can seriously affect the environment as you please, is actually pretty cool, 1 point because the gadgets seem cool and the crafting seems solid, 2 points because the vehicle construction is a bit much to figure out but overall customization for that and the buildings is cool too, -4 because the end is UNreachable as far as I know because im not gonna spend 10+ hours to find out for the review. I'll reccommend trying it just because it's free now and for what i experienced having payed for it, I DID have a good time.

What a fantastic sandbox / survival / base builder. It lays the groundwork for a lot of systems, and executes most them quite nicely. The main story may not be anything special, but the freedom you are given with the environment is just plain amazing. Every little bit is destroyable/mineable/buildable (Voxel environment), you can build up your own colony pretty much any way you want, recruit new people, train them up, even send them out to work for you (if they have the right skills). In addition there is a Voxel based creation mode for your own freaky designs for vehicles, guns, swords, etc. The adventure mode adds a rather basic, but still greatly enjoyable, procedural generator to the world, and also introduces some RPG elements. It's just an extension of the main story mechanism, without the constraints of the story beats, and infinitely re-playable thanks to the world generator. While it is very rough around the edges, it still gave me hours of fun. As a first outing for developer Pathea, this game is just outstanding and bodes well for the future. Highly recommended for people enjoying a somewhat chill base-building/colony sim, with adventure/RPG elements.
