If a new character is to be added, it should be a medic type for each team. This game is great. Like for honor minus the lag and minus the honor. The ragdolls are hilarious!

When I was a young child I watched Lazy Town, and they preached the fact that "Yar har, fiddle di dee, Being a pirate is all right with me, Do what you want 'cause a pirate is free,". I always followed these teachings as if they were the benelovent fact from the gods above. I was a sheep of society. I decided to educate myself, figure out: Is it really alright with me? Am I truly free as a Pirate? Yar har, fiddle di dee? I installed this game quickly chosing the Pirate captain. I spent the next 27.1 hours of my life straight playing as a Pirate Captain. Thats when I realized, I was not to be shamed of being a sheep, as a Pirate I truly was free! After the first few minutes I quickly realized I had in my arsenal a secret weapon. Like the hydrogen bombs dropped upon Hiroshima, I had the weapon to end all wars. I pressed "3" on my keyboard; and there they were. Polly, your personal trusty parrot. With a click of my mouse, I had one the game... Polly flew out into battle, barging directly into a duel between a knight and a viking. Before they realized what hit them they all died. Their eyes resembled grandma's good ol' jars of raspberry jam. I set forward my peg leg, sprinting towards the tall gates of the castle. I could not believe my eyes (fireflys); spread out among the courtyard 9 bodies of vikings, and knights. I glance to the top-right of my screen and there I saw the glowing red killfeed sprawled across my screen telling tales of my glorious combat. Polly returns to me, having finished her work in murdering the enemies inside of their own spawns to the point until they were forced to leave. I entered the keep of the castle, I grabbed a oak chest, its gold spilling out of its sides. I took that gold and walked into the sunset with Polly... Yar.. Har... Fiddly di dee... I am a pirate, and I am truly free... [VAC BANNED | Pirates, Vikings, and Knights II]

I love For Honor. It is the best game in the whole world, the way the pirate throws a bird and there are tons of noises constatly happening makes it just a really wonderful, emersive, swordplay experiance.

This game has managed to become one of my favorite games and an amazing thing to play when you need a laugh. The way the combat system works really does it for you - there's been times when I played where our entire team was skirmishers and we blew up the entire enemy base with exploding barrels. It really is brilliant. It's just too bad that its starting to die out.

Pirates, Vikings and Knights II has received a positive reception from critics. In their review of the initial public beta, the custom content site Mod DB described the game as "fun and imaginative", praising it for a lasting appeal in its game modes that also serve to encourage cooperation between players. The reviewer also gave credit to the "colorful, vivid graphical style", stating that the team use of the Source engine created some "truly breathtaking views" on maps that were also well designed from a gameplay perspective. Despite praising the balanced implementation of ranged combat versus melee combat, Mod DB criticised the melee combat element as needing work, stating that it felt "repetitive and shallow", as well as expressing some concern over the balance between the classes.
