A Stylish Masterpiece of Strategy and Snark This game is the ultimate mashup of a JRPG, a high school simulator, and a heist movie—but with a talking cat and a killer soundtrack. It’s as stylish as it is stressful, because nothing screams “fun” like balancing school, friendships, and stealing the distorted desires of corrupt adults. Story You’re just an average high school student—or so you thought. Wrongly accused of a crime and shipped off to Tokyo, you stumble upon the Metaverse, a magical dimension born from human desires. Here, you and your new crew, the Phantom Thieves, dive into the minds of shady adults to steal their wicked hearts. It’s like Inception, but with more jazz music and fewer Leonardo DiCaprios. Along the way, you’ll unravel conspiracies, form unbreakable bonds, and get yelled at by a talking cat for staying up too late. Strengths ✔️ Combat That Makes You Feel Like a Genius Every battle feels like a perfectly choreographed dance of flashy moves and tactical brilliance. And when you land a critical hit and trigger a stylish All-Out Attack, it’s impossible not to cheer for yourself. ✔️ Characters You’ll Want to Be Besties With The Phantom Thieves are basically the coolest friend group you’ve ever dreamed of joining. Whether it’s the sweet and awkward artist Yusuke or the bold and feisty Ann, you’ll find yourself rooting for them—and maybe even tearing up once or twice. ✔️ A Soundtrack So Good It Should Be Illegal With tracks like "Last Surprise" and "Rivers in the Desert," this soundtrack will live in your head rent-free for weeks. Good luck resisting the urge to hum "Take Over" during your next grocery run. ✔️ Visuals That Put Other Games to Shame From slick menus to explosive combat animations, everything in this game is so stylish it could walk the runway. Seriously, even the pause menu is cooler than most other games. ✔️ The Stress Simulator You’ll Love to Hate Planning your days, managing your social life, and deciding whether to hang out with your friends or infiltrate a palace will give you flashbacks to finals week—but in the best way. Weaknesses ❌ The Calendar Will Haunt You Did you waste an entire day playing darts with Ryuji instead of studying? Too bad, because now you’ll be up at night regretting your poor life choices. ❌ Morgana’s Bedtime Rules Want to stay out late and train for the next boss fight? Too bad. Morgana will scold you until you go to bed. Sleepytime police strikes again. ❌ Time Will Disappear You’ll tell yourself, “Just one more in-game day,” and then suddenly it’s 3 a.m. and you’re questioning all your life decisions. Achievements The achievements are like your to-do list: intimidating but oddly satisfying to check off. From maxing out your relationships to mastering combat, every task feels rewarding. And don’t worry—nothing is missable if you plan well. Just… maybe don’t waste time playing darts with Ryuji. Target Audience ✔️ Recommended for • JRPG fans who love strong characters and flashy battles • Players who enjoy balancing a full schedule while stealing hearts • People who want a game dripping with style and humor ❌ Not Recommended for • Gamers who hate time management (or calendars in general) • People who dislike talking cats (seriously, why?) • Those who don’t want to spend 100+ hours on a single game Final Verdict This game is a dazzling mix of strategy, storytelling, and pure style that will keep you hooked from start to finish. Whether you’re drawn in by the heists, the friendships, or the endless jazz bangers, you’re in for a ride you won’t forget. Oh, and let’s not forget: it’s the best Persona game to date. The bar has been raised—and it’s now in the Metaverse. 🎭✨ Note: My playtime is as distorted as the cognitive worlds I infiltrated. Dont look up guides, dont try to gamify this. As someone with severe ADHD i constantly try to min max games. The best advice i have ever been given is for this game. Stop looking shit up. Stop trying to make ever right decision. It is very hard to actually make a wrong decision and mess up while just playing the game normally. Try to be a phantom theive. Put yourself in there shoes. Youll have so much more fun with this amazing story.

This is the greatest game I have ever played. I have never written a review for anything, let alone a game before. Before playing persona 5, my personal greatest games were the Last of Us and Fallout New Vegas, with many other greats right behind it, but putting this game above them was one of the easiest decisions I have ever made (I have Ellie's tattoo and the wild wasteland perk tattooed on my damn body mind you). I have never felt the things I did about any other game before. I, a 23 year old man, have never in my life cried for as long as I did than after the credits started to roll. I beat Royal two days ago and still when I boot up my laptop I can't find the strength or desire to do anything but boot up Persona and either stare at the title screen or cut it up in the thieves den (little trinket hub side feature). Other than yapping about how this game has completely consumed my every waking thought, I will yap about why this game is so perfect. Every single feature is as perfect as the definition of the word. The soundtrack, I can't even find the words to describe how amazing the soundtrack of this game is, those words might not even exist in the English language (I don't wanna say perfect too much). The soundtrack is so good than you don't even need to play the game to appreciate it, but when you do and finally have experiences to tie each song to, and each track just gets ten times better. I will 100% be listening to this soundtrack for the rest of my life. And the art, oh my god the art of this game, from the little screen of Tokyo between each day, the MENUS AAAAAHHHHH the menu art of each confidant, speaking of which, each confidant, don't even get my started. As sick as the story itself is, the real beauty of this game is the relationships you build with all the people you meet, and (literally) saying goodbye to them and moving on from this game is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. I don't even want to touch on the story itself because I think everyone should go in as blind as I did, but just trust me when I say it is absolutely incredible. It has so much that goes into it that one thing I realized is that you actually can't spoil Persona 5 with a single sentence, there is just too much that happens. But every story beat, and every twist they throw at you is just nothing short of master class, and dawg I'm telling you, I have never in my life been quite as lit as when I was fighting the last like 5 bosses. I have truly screwed myself over, because for the rest of my life I will compare every game, and even every piece of fiction, to Persona 5 Royal, and I'm sure every single time, those other works will never be able to come anywhere close to the experience of playing this game for the first time. This is one of those things that if i had selective amnesia, and I could choose one thing to experience for the first time ever, I'm picking Persona 5 Royal every. single. time. I can talk about this game forever, and I probably actually will, but as far as this review goes, no one is gonna read this, I can't foresee a situation where anyone comes to this store page without the intent to purchase the game, I'm not changing anyone's mind or anything here, and I will likely be the only human to ever read these words, but I had to take the time to write this. My final save file is about 215 hours long, and I will cherish each and every second of those 215 hours for as long as I live, and it has permanently rewired the way my brain works. If for some reason you are reading this and are on the fence, please, please play this game. And if every loading screen telling you isn't enough, please, Take Your Time.

This was my first Persona game and here is what I have to say: This game is hands down, THE best game I have ever played in my life. The amount of enjoyment I got from this is just not possible to explain with words. Everyone NEEDS to play this game, it's straight up life-changing. Gameplay: Addicting Story: Amazing. Characters: Very memorable and likeable. Soundtrack: Going on in my head 24/7, best music I've heard, ever. I could go and meatride this game more but whatever I say, it's not going to be enough. Whoever you are, play Persona 5. It's amazing.
