It's a fairly simple, but very charming post-Slay-the-Spire roguelite. I had fun with it, even though it feels like at one point it was meant to be very difficult, but then most of the difficulty got patched out of it. Not much more to say about it, really. It's one of those that are really simple, but not pretentious and very charming, so it doesn't feel like a letdown.

Every adventure is straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Gorgeous pixel graphics and evocative music. Excellent little retro blend of just the right amount of turn based tactical combat, party based RPG mechanics, resource management and map exploration decisions. Just the perfect way to spend quality time with your children teaching them about the Third Reich.

Super fun game to play for a few hours. Not too complicated, nice graphics and just enough complexity to keep you engaged. Really enjoyable experience.

Honestly, the more I played this game the more I was digging its vibes. There are a few things I would tweek to make the UI more friendly but ultimately I can't deny its overall charm. It's basically X-Com meets Roguelite meets Curious Expedition (if you know of that game). The pixel art is fantastic, and the music is solid as well. The whole thing really got me immersed, and even if your entire team gets wiped out it'll let you struggle to continue and perhaps find your legs again. Solid game. 7/10.

HIDDEN GEM 8/10 !!! In 2024 this is kinda hidden gem and a absolute banger of a turn based roguelike. Finished the game several times on my gog copy. Bought it here to hunt all achievements. For me, its perfect mix of "eventtelling", turn based combat and meta progress. Eventtelling not storytelling, since game is separated on several adventures. And in each you progress through events and fights to the adventure conclusion. Meta progress is done by unlocking new characters and mainly by leveling them up. But also, by big chunk it is done by looting, buying and unlocking better gear, weapons and supplies. Fights are quick and fun, they may seem kinda basic from start, but they get more complex and in time, and also harder if you want, by upping up the difficulty on your whim. Why only 8/10 then ? Well its not a perfect game ( full voice acting would help, there is currently just a taste of VA ), if the game was little longer and also the story had more impact, i would go for 10/10 in a second :)
