There are a few bugs, but in general it is not a bad adaptation of the original card game. I hated the mechanic of banishing cards from your deck in the original and it is even more stupid in the game where you can pay for cards. But overall the gameplay is captivating.

Overall a great game. Very functional and user-friendly UI. There's a lot to pack in on a screen, but overall they did a great job. Fairly decent story, but I'm not one for a rich story line in general so others might have a different opinion. Extremely re-playable given the cards and characters variants you can try. My experience was it can be very challenging until you get through the learning curve. As frustrated as I was at times by coming so close to victory in a mission, it never detered me but rather gave me motivation to get through on the next try. There's a lot of content with the DLCs but if I were to have a complaint it would be that they aren't making more DLCs or at least it's been quiet on that front for several years. To sum up, the game is worth every penny and then some!

Downsides: singleplayer, feels like it dreams about crashing, and there is only the first set, Rise of the Runelords, with zero indication of adding more. That last one made me disappointed, the system is here all they would need to do is translate the cards. Pros: Cheap, works, and lets you play 600 times faster than in paper. In-game purchases are unnecessary and if you want the paper experience I'd actually advise against utilizing them. It's fine. 78/100

This game is like being in an abusive relationship: it keeps hiting you hard, you keep rolling 12 when you needed a 13, you keep grunting to the sky when you see the villain go to another location....... But you keep coming back. Again and again. Because when you win, when you get that sweet upgrade to your character................. So sweet...
