Good game. pro: many micro handling such as throwing knives/stones/bottles, laying mines, etc. three different partisans good campaign nice background music con: medium game layout unclear graphic, not able to see faces, zoom is far not attractive colours in game, everything is white no feeling being in real nazi*sovjet atmosphere, you don't hear german talking, screaming etc. no abilities to manual handling of partisans such as crouching, jumping. conclusion: 7+ / 10

This is just a very good isometric tactical/stealth game made with low/mid budget. It does not reinvent the genre, but is definitely a good contribution thereto. Definitely recommended for the fans. The enemies' AI is surprisingly credible, which provides an interesting challenge at least for a single playthrough. When stealth is not an option, the ensuing firefights are very fast, brutal and satisfying. It forces you to carefully plan and prepare for every engagement (if you can't win by stealth only), and will usually punish you for going in all guns blazing. But even if your plan carefully laid out somehow misfires, the positive outcome is still possible, which is oddly satisfying. Characters are decently written and voiced (for this kind of game) and feel actually perceivable. The "base management" mechanic is purely a placeholder, and feels unnecessary and superfluous. The game would barely lose anything without it.

Overall it's a fine game but I can't give it more than a 7/10 Good: - It's fun' challenging but fun. - You'll really have to use your brain, good - You can approach things in many way Bad: - Stuffs' a bit janky - UI and UX is a bit lackluster - Despite its many keybinds, you can only configure like a half of them (you also don't know the other unconfigurable half, making keybinding conflict a certainty) - Enviromental inconsistency. Some paths that seem traversible, and some fence that seem climbable aren't. - Please add a skip dialogue option, you can only watch or skip the whole thing. - Something's weird with save and load option when it come to enemies' positions. - Randomness in camp operation is just annoying, it just encourage save scumming. - Character's pathfinding are a bit weird. They seem to try to reach the designated position via the most dangerous pathway.

It's a very good game for a Commandos nostalgic but I think some of the characters' special abilities aren't making any difference in game. For eg: why are you having a sniper in your team but you can't use it in the most of the missions because you're suppose to go completely silent? Other thing is that you can't see what is all about the mission ahead in order to chose your adequate squad members according to the mission's scope. I mean you're suppose to scout the territory before lunching a mission and then take specific people with you that are most suitable for the mission's demands. Many times I ended picking characters that I use them as carriers for supplies and actively play the mission with only 1 or 2 of the squad. Overall the game was fun to play but by the half of it, it became a little bit boring to play and I couldn't wait to finish it faster. Definitely didn't sparkle my interest to start over in a different difficulty mode

The gameplay is truly engaging and immersive. If you like Satellite Reign, Mutant: Year Zero, XCOM 2 and Company Of Heroes 2 you should find much to love in this title. With the strategy, stealth, characters, and challenges, not to mention the sandbox in the very nice expansion you should endless hours of fun out of this. Hopefully more revenue can bring about a little polish. But even as it is is a really fun time for sure.
