Very fun game, but my biggest complaint is that the bosses take way too long to kill. It just ruins the pacing of the game. If the boss fights were half as long it would be a lot more engaging

this is a great game that has a high difficulty and intense gameplay even without adding spices (or sugars, basically playing the game with no modifiers with different planets) also, modified bosses are pain but you don't seem to get forced into them if you don't grab fragile cores, but you only claim the metaprogression if you flawless said modified boss which is a very good incentive to git gud

Cool game with interesting synergies! Well worth the money and works great on Deck / with controller! Only constructive criticism I have towards the UI and controller scheme: In the menus when navigating with the controller, it is sometimes VERY hard to see which menu item is currently active. In general I appreciate the stylistic aesthetic of the game, but in the menus the choice for colour and contrast is sometimes lacking to a degree where its a guesswork of where I am clicking. Maybe something that could be fixed in the future. :)

Paper Planet: This game is something special. The devs are clearly inspired by any and all powerups they can get their hands on from other games. Jacobs ladder and soymilk isaac, egghead being a reference to NorthernLion, the friendly snail is a fun reference to adventure time, and many many *MANY* more refrences to other media. This game is fun, adorable and an overall enjoyable experience. Please give this a shot, some of the most fun ive ever had in a rougelike in quite some time!

A horde shooter with a unique concept of protecting a planet from waves of enemies and lots of bullets instead of protecting yourself. Tons of upgrades to choose from, of which you can choose any combo you wish, leading to dozens of ways to have millions of projectiles on screen and crash your game, or making you and the planet you're guardian invincible. They made all of the in game text uwu-speech for april fools, after months without a content update. This has nothing to do with my review by the way, I just thought I'd mention it.
