Overall a Great side scroller with amazing pixel art. Would recommend waiting for a sale unless you're a fan of the Anime.

Im not sure why people are crapping on the game. So far, its been a really great game. Its got great visuals, the music and sound effects are nice, the controls feel fluid... The ONLY problem Ive seen with it so far is perhaps the price tag. 30 dollars for this seems a BIT overpriced, it would be more on par with a 20 dollar game. I would definitely get it on sale, but if you do, I doubt you will regret it. It also has one big point in its favor and that is the ability to play as the great Lady Clementine.

You cant play this without controller but this game is so GOOD. I bought a controller just for this game XD. I recommend playing on high difficulty cuz achievements and challenging gameplay. I bought it for 10$ no regrets. Awesome platformer with high speed gameplay in lategame. This game have a lot of problems i met some bugs while i was playing but it was rare for me. The biggest problem is sometimes u just cant find the way to get forward it took me a while to get used to it in the beginning. Bosses in this game are insane! Best bosses are Narberal, Entoma, Albedo, and my favorite shalltier she is balanced hard and her fight is one of the most beautiful fights in game in my opinion. I have complete this game on hard diff for about 3.5 hours, i killed all bosses 2 times ^^. Im a big fan of ranobe and anime "OVERLORD" and this game is pleasure for me.

"Overlord: Escape from Nazarick" is a really fun metroidvania, even though the game feels a bit cheap/amateur Here are some good points about the game: - Fun gameplay - Great pixelart, specially the bosses - Good amount of backtracking, not too little to be boring, not too much to be a pain Here are some problems: - The game feels cheap, there are some bugs and weird mechanics that make some parts harder than It should be - Most weapons are useless compared to the default ones - The achievements are stupid, you have to beat the game 100% in all three difficults tl;dr Get this game on sale if you like metroidvanias and don't mind a game that feels a bit unpolished

Ehh.. If you can get a 75% discount then sure. Map doesnt have key features like allowing you to mark areas, only updates if it's been "explored" so you don't know where you need to go back to to collect stuff you can only get with later enhancements.
