I've completed both the main story and the first DLC. This game deserves its very positive Rating! I've gotten all I was looking for in this game: City building; cute, expressive citizens; and interesting stories. I haven't tried the sandbox yet, but it's a good bet that it works! I already have a town concept in mind!

Incredibly fun city builder strategy sim! I would highly recommend this game, especially for someone new to the genre as Outlanders provides a smooth learning curve and easy-to-use UI. The DLC campaigns kick the difficulty up, which makes it also great for genre veterans. I loved having clear objectives, which a lot of games in this genre are missing.

I absolutely adore Outlanders. I started playing it on IOS and loved it so much I bought it on steam. What I love most about it is the simplicity. I find that other simulation strategy games can be so overwhelming with everything you have to manage. This is a game I was playing to unwind before bed for months. Don't get me wrong, this game can be a challenge! But listening to the music, watching my villagers run around and do their assigned tasks, and watching the days pass is so therapeutic to me. I do wish they would add family trees and last names, so I could keep track of my villagers lineage! I have nothing but good things to say, I wish everyone would play this game. I am SOOOOO EXCITED for Outlanders 2, I hope they release it on steam!!!! I can't wait to see what Pomelo does next!

It’s really fun and cute my only problem is they max out the population cap at 200 villagers. Really impacts the amount you can do eventually.i understand it for people playing on less capable hardware but hope they change that for pc users at least,

I can't believe I hadn't reviewed this game before. I've spent an almost embarrassing amount of time and perfecting each level of this game. It's ridiculously addictive. The art style is gorgeous. Challenges are perfectly balanced between chill and intense. The missions are varied. I LOVE THIS GAME!
