***I want to point out, I never played it multiplayer so I cannot speak for actual game play with others. Out of Space really is a fun game, too bad there's only an average of 30 people playing online at any given time. That means as you might have guessed, if you don't have friends to play with locally or online you aren't going to get much play time out of your $15 USD. Solo is okay for a couple of matches, but too often you'll get a match that's unwinnable. The maps are randomized each time you play, so that's nice for replay-ability but it's also the reason you might not be able to win solo matches. I'm going to do something rare for me, generally when games have a dead community and there are only a handful of people playing the game I often use that as big reason why I might not recommend a game. However, with Out of Space I can't help but like what I've played and I hope this game can be revived. It needs more attention and even though the game has been out since 2019, it deserves more recognition. Behold Games has a fun, simple to learn but hard to master game on their hands! So give it a go on discount, or if you have 3 other friends full price is okay too.

The game is so fun but needs work. Item directions are hard to deal with, controls can’t be customized, the invite system is buggy, and gameplay feels unbalanced for smaller teams. Fixing these issues would greatly enhance the experience. I recommend this game for its fun co-op gameplay and unique strategy concept.

This is a fun, cute game that has you maintaining your ship in outer space while protecting your rooms and vents from aliens and alien goo. I'd recommend to those with kids, or to people who enjoy more of the day to day life play style or cozy games. It can get somewhat stressful/overwhelming, especially as you're learning or playing large maps with difficult challenges. But there is an option for 'Zen Mode' which helps it feel more cozy and simplistic. With Zen Mode, I am able to complete more difficult challenges on the largest ship sizes on my own. It's definitely easier and more fun with other players - which brings me to my biggest gripe about the game. If you want to play with multiple people locally, it's usually totally fine. However, if you're trying to play online with others, it can get buggy. It's difficult to match up with other players, or once you do get in, it can get really buggy and glitchy, which is unfortunate since it's such a fun game. I don't think they're supporting updates or anything anymore, so it's sorta going to just be like this. However, I'd still recommend the game since it does work really well alone or with local multiplayer and is quite fun and addicting to play. Especially if you have children or enjoy adding in challenges to keep it exciting, this is a great game that I'd highly recommend.

I played this with my wife. It is a good game, well designed, and did what it was supposed to well. But also not an amazing game. We progressed quite a bit, and enjoyed our time with it. Sometimes it was too challenging, but after we learned good strategies we were doing well. It is difficult to say why this was not an excellent game for us. We still think a positive review is the fitting one, but we also felt the game could be better somehow. Perhaps if the speed of the game was a bit slower, it would allow the items you buy to have more meaningful tactical elements? One thing that was very frustrating for us, and rather dissatisfying, is the game controls and interaction with items. We seemed to always pick up or interact with the item we didn't want to, or to drop the item we wanted to keep, etc. Perhaps more buttons assigned to special items would help, like opening doors happens with only a special button that can't be used for anything else.

Great fun for the whole family! Once you've learned the ropes, this game is great fun. I only wish there were more achievements to keep me busy after playing for a while. Also, the online play appears to be mostly unavailable, so I'd recommend playing with friends instead. Love it!
