Otaku's Adventure is an endearing little gem. It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me want to yeet my mouse at the wall in unbridled fury. It made me cringe so hard that it caused me physical pain. A true roller coaster of emotions and experiences. As little as the game takes itself seriously, the story is surprisingly heartwarming, and at times heartbreaking. Otaku's Adventure is essentially a multi-route visual novel with mini games and point-and-click elements sprinkled in (and some light RPG elements in one part). If visual novels really aren't your thing, the interactive elements of Otaku's Adventure probably aren't going to be enough to make it worthwhile. But the game is excellent at being what it wants to be, and I loved it from start to finish. It gets a thumbs up from me.

A Interesting game by the maker of Kio a horror game that's now banned from steam despite legit worse horror game content being on steam. Personally this is like a dark comedy skit of a man???? trying to find some love in a mad world... If you saw the videos by fellows like Manlybadass plays or Mr Falcon you may know what I meant here.. but nevertheless this is a comical journey of life and love. Pain and gain. sometimes death sometimes a lawsuit for harassment. it's funny and outrageous and doesn't really pull punches.. Dialogue could be better but these games aren't necessarily made for english in mind at the get go. Aside from that I recommend it as it is fun little game. that has more interaction than some visual novel/dating sims you see these days.. Still Kio didn't deserve a ban from sales or whatever the story was that happened. it was a fucked up horror like so many others....... Sorry still a bit upset about the blatant disregard of games and art and hypocrisy... (Seriously tho, Kio was a weird japanese horror 2d game that contains a lot of the weird questionable materials you'd find in a horror game by such minds. and it kinda was unfairly pulled cause people got their panties in a bunch or something along those lines.. Seriously. to those who play games.. don't play it if its not for you. understand that horror is meant to be fucked up and weird. its meant to make you feel uncomfortable. )

Very interesting adventure with a lot of humour and unpredictable twists. A lot of interesting minigames, some of them are not that easy and require some skill. But the route with RPG is a bit too long and grindy.

It's one of those games you know is scuffed but it just oozes with passion and humour you can't help but love. I've been hoping to see more games by the devs. The bad translation adds to the experience, none of you may convince me otherwise. If it bothers you that much, one look at the trailer gives you an idea on how stilted it is at the very least, but it's comprehensible for the most part. It's cheap and fun, just try it.

All routes are pretty nice, but Waifu's irritates me a bit. Glad the DLC makes her a little more likeable. All mini games are pretty fun. A shame that choices do not matter that much; it's either you pick wrong and die or pick right and move forward. Overall, pretty enjoyable for its price.
