The flexibility in creating housing plots, decorative options, family heritage, and unique Ukranian setting add a lot to the experience. I found myself constantly wanting to go back to Ostriv while playing Manor Lords, as there's just much more depth here in terms of resource logistics to enjoy. If you enjoy Banished and Manor Lords, chances are you'll enjoy this one as well!

I've got 1,700+ hrs. in this game and it just gets better and better. The sole developer has surely struggled considering he lives in Ukraine and what the Russians have going on there. Things that didn't work, do now, and continuous improvements are occurring. My hat is off to him, may God Bless and protect him from harm.

I love it. Plain and simple. The attention to detail here is amazing. It's not a hardcore survival sim, which I like. It can be a little unforgiving at times, but more often than not, that's not the case. This is a single dev caught in Ukraine with Russia's BS, and he's still busting his ass over it. As far as I'm concerned, the dev deserves all the support and recognition possible.

Gonna be honest with you. Every time someone praises Manor lords for something innovative I think "But Ostriv already did that..." and every time people say of Manor lords "I wish this was a little more polished" I think to myself "Well... Ostriv already had that system, well polished too!" Also people who says development is been very slow, dude, now only is the entire game made by a single guy, he also lives in Ukraine, which, as you may recall, is being actively invaded by Russia at the moment, yes, the news seem to have forgotten but I would wager the people who actually lives there is probably still not having the best of times. Lest you can do is at least be understanding. So if you do not care about Manor lords RTS combat, if you want Vanished but way better and with more polish and care, if you want one of the best medieval city builders ever. Check it out.

100 hours in - it's a good game... and beautiful. I do feel as though I've explored most of the content at this point. There's a fair amount of it at present, with a ton of potential for both more buildings and more flora. The detail is amazing... from the way a building is built from the foundation up through the roof framing to the towns people strolling on a bridge in their colorful attire, carrying a cart of supplies somewhere. From Oxen plowing a field to cherry trees in full bloom. In the hundred hours of play there were two CTD's. At 850 population it feels like I'm starting to push stability limits (at least on my machine, it's a few years old). Considering the amount of detail and data involved it's not surprising. It feels like this game accomplished what the city builders tried to do - track and simulate everything accurately. They all talked it but failed miserably at walking it. Keep up the great work Mr. Dev. It's a beautiful game... and it works.
