Neat game with a fairly repetitive gameplay loop. Your biggest variable will be the locations where you're exploring in the Warehouse, as the enemy AI is largely the same. Jumpscares are... Fine, but you start ignoring them when you realize that they aren't accompanied with any elevation in threat. I think it's one of the things a lot of horror-coded games tend not to realize. A jumpscare is only scary the first time or two, and then you realize it's a non-threat or entirely ambiance. Sure, you get startled, but you don't feel sincere panic. I recommend it it. It was fun to play through the first time, and I think I got my money's worth at <$10 for a couple of hours of play and petting a cat.

Fun game with a unique concept. It becomes oddly relaxing once you understand the way the AI works. Not every game needs to be an endless hard grind. It was enjoyable! P.S. LET MY CAT HAVE A WIZARD HAT WHEN THE EMBLEM FOR HATS IS A WIZARD HAT. thanks :) and great game

The game is pretty fun. If you think you'll enjoy the gameplay loop of leave safehouse, grab preordained items while hiding from monsters, return to safehouse, pack and ship it, repeat, then you'll like the game. Be warned, it's incredibly short. I beat it in less than 2 hours. Although to be fair I played the demo so I had a good understanding of how the game worked going into it. From here I'll be using spoilers to denote anything that might worsen your personal experience if you end up playing the game. I have a few complaints about the game. For one, I think the ending is very mediocre. I was expecting it, but was hoping for something more grand and scary than what I got. I think either hiding the exit code, making finding the code a puzzle, forcing a chase sequence when trying to reach the exit or after putting the code in, or putting the exit at the end of the 1st warehouse rather than five meters to the left of your safehouse would be much better and probably not that much more work than what it was. The actual ending being a black screen with some text is fine, the game is eight dollars after all with little to no story as far as I can tell. Maybe if how you finish the game was changed you could make two endings where the player has to remember to bring their cat and if they don't they get the bad ending. I don't think that would add much but it would be interesting. I also think the game's enemies are lackluster as well. Or more truthfully, the single enemy the game has to offer. Once you figure out how to dodge or hide from it, the game becomes trivial. Adding another enemy type or two that either kills or debilitates you would've been nice. Maybe a creature that screams and alerts the main enemy? Or one that turns off or steals your tools and you have to chase them down to get them back? I know about the crawling creature, but they don't do anything other than offer a cheap jumpscare. Given how short the game is, having one enemy is fine but it would've been nice to have a little variety that would force you to think more when you leave your safehouse. My last major complaint has to do with the upgrades. I think they're all good but feel way too powerful for their cost. Maybe I tryharded the game too much and their costs are extremely balanced for the average player, but I got all the important upgrades ( upgraded scanner, upgraded backpack, and 3x ticket rack ) by day 4 and was set to beat the game by day 6 if I spent less money on cat upgrades. Either adding more upgrades that improve your basic tools or more cat upgrades would've been nice. Maybe an expensive upgrade that lets your scanner instantly put in the code for shipments, or a flashlight upgrade that makes it way brighter and possibly stuns enemies. Maybe a throwing upgrade that lets you stun enemies by throwing items at them, a coin that you can throw that distracts enemies, a sprint speed upgrade, another backpack upgrade for more slots, or even an automation upgrade that makes the packaging and shipping part automatic. Adding more upgrades makes the gameplay loop feel more worthwhile to engage with, alongside keeping players engaged as they want to unlock and see what the cooler upgrades can do. There might be some merit to keeping the player weak, but I think a game like this might really benefit from giving the player more fun tools to mess around with. This is especially the case given the game's immersive sim tag. All in all, I think the game was fun and I don't regret purchasing and playing it. There aren't many games like this one, so it's especially pertinent to give it a try if it seems interesting. Something about turning a monotonous job into a constant life or death struggle is neat, and I hope to see more games that try this out in the future.

Excellent sim-horror game - not for everyone, but for me I enjoyed the gameplay alot - only downside was it left me wanting me! Add achievements - add more upgrades - add difficulty - I NEED MORE!

Although it is not a full immersive sim, it does have some slight immersive sim elements. A solid horror game worth playing, very polished, I encountered no bugs, and it even gave me a few scares. Also it has a cat, what more do you want? (Actually I'm a dog person, but still)
