Lots of stuff to do around the map including: fishing, farming, animals, workshop, shopping. As well as this, the progression seems slow but keeps you engaged, very good game

Very good game, not the standard market sim that seems to be flooding the market at the moment. There's you buy stock, however you can also grow your own produce, fish your own fish, raise your own cows/chickens/animals, decorate your store and your living quarters and even use appliances to make your own bread and alcohol. The expansions you can buy at the architect may seem expensive but once you get your Old Market up and running they will be affordable in no time. Maybe a counter somewhere or some sort of "ledgerbook" to keep track of the maintenance costs for everything would be handy since I always tend to forget about those and sometimes go into debt. One of my personal favorite but also challenging aspects for me is timing my crop growth with the seasons, if I mess up the timing on my growth I could waste thousands of coins when the season changes and my crops stop growing. But when I time the days on my crops growth perfectly with the season changes, its just a type of satisfying I can't explain. Purchasing a Greenhouse does enable you to grow any crops any time of the year, but those upgrades are a bit pricey and take some of the fun out of a seasonal market store for me, so I don't tend to use those at all. The fishing in the game could use a little work, the map on the boat is nice but I wish I could also just purchase the map as is and hang it in my store or living area. Finding the special fish did take a bit of getting the hang of, but once I found a few I had a nice set up going. Rowing out to these areas can take almost the whole day, so maybe a Worker that can row out there and collect the fish for you would be nice. But then again that would be hard to balance. The animals in this game are nice but you need to experiment with a few before knowing what the all do, when I first purchased 2 cows and they grew to maturity, I didn't know that if I waited a few more days they would give me milk, I thought that once they reached maturity they would be able to give me milk right away so instead I butchered them. It was only when I forgot to butcher them I realized they give milk 2 days after reach full maturity, which makes sense since when purchasing the cow it says something like 4(+2) meaning it takes 4 days for full maturity and 2 days for production but that isn't explained anywhere. Figuring it out myself was nice though, it ended up changing how I ran my barn completely. Also again maybe a worker NPC that automatically "harvests" the byproducts from the animals and moves them to the cellar would be amazing. Decoration is a tad lackluster, but I can't expect a whole housing decoration catalog in a Market Sim game. The decorations do cost quite a pretty penny in-game and almost don't seem worth it at some points when you are trying to balance out product costs, employee wages, and maintenance on all the extras/equipment you have. A feature I am sad isn't implemented is the rugs, I assumed the rugs would slow down the pace at which my store got dirty; since you know a entry rug make people wipe their feet but, they don't. If this could be implemented with the current rugs or maybe even a new doormat furniture item getting added that would be amazing. Overall thought I bought this game om Friday Oct 4th and didn't start playing until Saturday Oct 5th and it has essentially taken over my free time and even encroached on my productive time. 19.7 hours in 1.5 days is huge for me in a game personally and I can confidently count on one hand how many games have been this addicting this fast. I am super excited to see the updates and where the devs take this game since they seem to be very perceptive of this.

The game is good, but there are some issues, as expected from a new game however. Some things that bugged me: 1. Earning money is difficult. You end up spending a lot, and you don't make as much as you end up spending. I bought a license for $500, and I could only afford to get soda. Otherwise I just have to buy bread, eggs, and potatoes cause I can't afford much else. 2. Customers keep looking for items you don't have a license for. It sort of makes sense, since you are a supermarket, but because there's always a a lot of customers wanting one or more items that you don't have, even ones you don't have access to, makes it so your rating stays fairly low. 3. Controls are weird. It is strange to have "x" key as a way to change the price and as a way to take the shelf and some items up. I often ended up accidentally picking up the shelf when I tried to adjust the price of the items. 4. The game soundtrack isn't fit the best to the game. The soundtrack sounds sad, and generally makes me want to fall asleep the longer I listen to it. Could just be me, but it did bother me. That's the main issues I found so far. The idea itself is good, a single or co-op game where you own a supermarket and have your own farm seems like a great deal, and it seems like the game could be fun to play. Looking toward to the future updates.
