Nukitashi 1 was a wonderfully fun experience, but man does 2 tie it all together. A genius concept to begin with, Nukitashi is a play on typical eroge/nukige tropes that really surprises you with its progressive approach and fresh execution. I loved what the first game did by creating a dystopia (some would argue utopia) of a setting, and having the main characters deal with it in incredibly hilarious ways. the second game, an amazing sequel/fandisc, really expands upon the Seiran Island situation and brings in a new issue that really makes you appreciate the writing. This game is REALLY funny, it had me laughing for hours, and it all comes from its wordplay and outrageous sexual situations. Not to mention that the heroines, mostly Misaki, are hilarious. and Jun is literally me. He got so much development in this game, from how he masterfully makes onaholes to how he wants to be unbirthed by Nanase, his character has undoubtedly become a favorite of mine. It was AMAZING seeing more of the SS girls, which I was dying to see the moment I started the first game. Unrelated, but I've never seen a main character bust a nut so much. Had to have been over 1000 times. This series made me fall in love with Qruppo and I was HYPEEE to hear that Henpri is getting localized!!! I can't wait. In any case, I highly recommend Nukitashi, which I would say taught me how to be a good human, and accept people even if they are a little strange. That really is what I took from the game. Long live His Sexellency!

Don’t Dismiss It as a Boring Adult Game 2 If you haven’t played Nukitashi, don’t buy Nukitashi 2 yet (obviously). Compared to the previous game, this one has a lot more content and should provide around 40 hours of gameplay. Unlike the previous game, this one has more comedic and touching moments (and I really like it). After you complete one of Touka, Rei, or Ikuko’s routes in Senzuripoint: Paccoman, the Asane short story will be unlocked. (Don’t forget to download the patch on Johren; Japanese IPs are blocked.) Note: The Japanese version has the Hinami (Free) / Susuko (280 JPY) Append Patch (The remastered version is included Susuko Append), but as of August 15, 2024, there is no announcement about the Hinami/Susuko Append DLC for the Steam version. I hope you’re not as crazy as I am, spending 8,580 JPY ($59) on FANZA to buy Nukitashi 2, and then going to the Qruppo Shop to spend another 280 JPY ($2) on a Suzuko Append Patch with no English support. If you have the money and understand Japanese, you might as well get the Nukitashi 1+2 Remaster directly, as it has more features compared to the standard version. (Yeah, I don't have the money to buy the Nukitashi 1+2 Remaster. It costs 17,600 JPY ($120), and I am just a college student living in a country with an unstable economy.)

After technically going through the entire thing twice, once for a first read-through, the second time for making a patch that restored honorifics and fixed some lines here and there, I can safely say that as an English translated product, this release is LEAGUES better than the first game. While it's far from perfect, it almost never took away from the experience in the same way that the release of the first game did. I'm extremely grateful that Shiravune seemed to have listened to the buzz around the first game, and seemingly did the best they could outside of things that would cause consistency issues with the first game's translation. Now aside from the translation itself, this is just straight up one of the greatest visual novels of all time, and I say that with absolutely no hyperbole. Even more so than its predecessor, it delves into many themes that it's EXTREMELY rare to see any visual novels do, and the delicacy they're handled with is about as perfect as you can ask for. The production quality is even more incredible than the 1st game, particularly the CG work being a step up from the already solid work in the original, and various things like visual effects during fights are far beyond what most VNs have done in my experience. The only thing that throws me off a little bit is the odd structure, as there is a sort of "true/main' route that then branches into 3 other routes that almost feel like side routes comparatively, and are in varying quality IMO. Touka and Ikuko's routes were slightly disappointing to me, not bad per se, but just nothing special like I've come to expect from this series. However, I'd say that's pretty easily offset by the absolutely incredible main route, and Rei's route also being an absolute masterpiece of character work. All the epilogues to the routes from the first game were really cute and a lot of fun, and then the final sendoff to the series, Fumino's epilogue, is about the most perfect finale I could have hoped for from this series. It delivered on everything that I had wished the first game had done, which it appears the only reason they didn't do so was because this sequel was planned from the start to send things off with a bang. Overall this is, as i said before, an absolute masterpiece that I strongly think everyone who considers themselves fans of VNs should read at some point or another. ありがとう、Qruppo

Currently, this visual novel doesn't look like it has the Hinami Append and Susuko Route Append DLC in place. I hope Shiravune will update them in the future, if possible. Pricing isn't an issue.
