I understand that people are upset about the multiplayer not being reintroduced yet, but honestly for a solo dev that actually updates, I think this is worth it. Its a fun, semi complex nuclear reactor sim. While I do hope that eventually the dev does reinstate multiplayer as i will pay for it again just for someone to play, It is a great game as is.

Good game to play but a Co-Op / Multiplayer mode would be really nice

I turned off hints and skipped the tutorial. In game one, I set the circulating pump to 25 and the control rods to 90, but nothing happened. I then adjusted the control rods to 70, then 50, and finally 20, still with no response. As I walked around the room, I attempted to insert the core but was denied. I then set the mode to nominal and inserted the core, which triggered an alarm. The panel indicated steam detection, which is necessary to turn the turbine, but then the room turned red, and I died. I opened the game manual to read a bit. In game two, I started in nominal mode, inserted the core, and turned on the pressurizer. I waited until the pressure reached 160 before turning it off. I set the circulating pump to 25 and the control rods to 90 and waited. Then, I activated the cooling tower, set it to 50, and adjusted the steam loop to 35. This generated steam, but an alarm indicated the reactor was too hot, so I set the control rods to 98. The steam turbine began to spin up, but another alarm sounded due to no resistors being connected, resulting in a blown resistor. In games three to eight, I repeatedly blew up the resistor when connecting to the grip. I made enough money to repair it. In the last game before this review, I got all 3 loop and upgraded all components to the maximum. I'm at level 52 with 38 million. I was hoping for an achievement for it. But it's okay Now I will learn what iodine, xenon, boric acid and sodium hydroxide do.

26 hours and I've only died once. I'd call that a win. This is definitely a game for the kind of person who enjoys managing systems. Even when everything is stable there are little tweaks that need to be made, things that need oil, and components that wear out over time. There are some good scenarios like going into the power plant and getting everything in order and turned on after being shut down for several years or another where the plant is empty and you have to buy everything and get it fired up for the first time. The dev is active on Discord and is still working on making the game better. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes fiddling with buttons and knobs just to see what would happen.
