This is one of those games, that is buggy af, takes a bit of tweaking to run, janky in all aspects, and yet the artstyle and the tension and the atmosphere is so spot on, you can't help but be impressed. Somehow it mixed 3D survival horror and semi-roguelike mechanics perfectly. If someone knows a similar game to this in feeling and atmosphere, feel free to suggest me. I absolutely adored my time with this game.

It's more than 15 years since I've last played it, but even now in 2024 it feels the same, the atmosphere of this game just isn't something to get over with. Pure chills through the bones.

fun little horror shooter with a ton of charm and plenty of fun for a single sitting. if you're into older shooters or horror games this is totally worth picking up on a sale and playing through to the end in a couple hours.

Pretty fun. I got this game after watching a streamer play it. Few bugs such as randomly taking damage or instantly dying without reason, the bug with Melissa in the West Wing etc. But other than that it's real fun

An overall pretty good experience. It's actually short enough to keep you entertained for one evening The obsolete graphics and the bulky melee controls may dissapoint you at first, but after getting into the game for about 1.5 hours, you'll really begin to enjoy it. Try to save your family from the fangs of the evil Count! The Good: + Atmosphere + Fast game pace and progression + Weapons + Story and concept + Enemies (bosses included) The Bad: - Some minor bugs (like invisible enemies) - Some minor illogicalities (like the procedure to save the last two family members) - Quite short The Ugly: - The graphics, oh gawd... Give this game a shot and don't forget to install the widescreen resolution patch as well. I've seen way worse titles from that era. 7/10
