A cool kart racer at a reasonable price. Great offline multiplayer. Fluid action, easy learning curve, and various difficulties. I really recommend this for good family fun for Nicktoons fans. Unfortunately, good family fun is the ceiling at which I can recommend this. The game has heart built into it and a lot of the tracks are legit fun, but you'll be playing the CPU and achievement hunt exclusively, which gets old fast. Even the Mario Kart seires this is inspired with suffers this same issue. GamerMill games, usually suck, but this one''s actually fun. If price seems too high, buy this only on bundle or if you're a big fan of the 2000s and 2010s Nicktoons roster and motifs. Like, if you enjoyed the Nick Theme Parks, you'll love this, because they throw a lot of slime and Nick IP in haphazardly. One thing that took getting used to was the unique slime mechanic and pit crew concepts, which give unique type advantages. They are cool concepts but implimented really weirdly. In every circumstance outside Nick, getting slimed is a bad thing but is actaully an advantage here. It took a few races to get the mental work to want to drive into slime. The pit crew issue is that they just threw random Nick IP's, even if the ability doesn't make too much sense or clashes with the characters. Realistically, the only thing stopping me from enjoying this more if having friends who also have this game.

Cool little kart racer I suppose. Nothing to write home about. Typical Mario kart'ish clone. Honestly, it has a nice feel to it and a lot of the tracks are legit fun. The slime mechanic and the pit crew concept is a unique and fun take on earning a special attack in a kart racer. Unfortunately, online is completely dead. Which is usually the main course for any kart racing game. This game is old now, so dead online is understandable. However, it does limit the entertainment value. Playing CPU gets old quick. I got this game as part of a humble bundle last year. I decided to recently play it out of being bored. I would not tell anyone to buy this, but if you grab it for extremely cheap, free or in bundle it's worth a play. Really easy achievements, if you feel like doing them. GamerMill games, usually suck, but this one isn't the usual awful crapware they mostly produce. It is simply just okay lol.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //a lot of difficult races //AI uses rubberbanding so that you can never really get ahead in the races //AI can shoulder block you //AI can take your powerups if they are infront of you //AI will sometimes gang up and attack you //AI has some unfair powerup attacks //over excessive traps in races //some characters/upgrades/powerups are better than others //locked characters and upgrades //unlocking characters and upgrades require completing somewhat difficult races/objectives //getting boosts from drifting doesn't work well //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $4.99 Or Less During Sale

It's a fun cartoonish racing game. I enjoyed playing it for hours now, it' so fun and worth it. I recommend buying it especially if you like family and racing games.

While it draws 75% of its design from Mario, I really like the 25% it does itself. Everyone knows how Mario Kart plays... well this plays the same, except the rubber-banding is a bit less annoying. The cast of characters is really good, but where the game really stands out is that you put out a 4 player team for every race. A driver, a chief, and two engineers. The driver is obviously the stats for controlling the vehicle, but each vehicle is customisable with unlockable engines, exhausts, tyres, and paint jobs. The chief is your primary power-up which ranges from attack powers, defence powers, or currency powers for more coin in the shop. And the engineers provide some passive buffs. OST is fine, but not amazing. Drawbacks: no voice acting at all, meaning the race is a little bit lifeless as characters don't react to boosts or being hit. Online is dead. The tracks are decent, but not super-memorable. If you can convince a few friends to pick this game up, it genuinely is a good 'Mario' time, but with elements of strategy selecting your team to match your playstyle and the track being selected. It does deserve a bit more recognition, but unfortunately it isn't a game that many people know about, or have played. Solid 8/10 Kart-racer for me! It'd easily be a 9 if online wasn't dead, and a 10 if the tracks were a little more interesting, that's how much I appreciate the 'team' aspect of this game. I hope it is a mechanic that is utilised in more kart-racers as it's a really great idea.
