Makes me want to lie on a rooftop floor outside while I listen to slowcore-music, It's a nice and melancholic walking simulator. Hugs for Cab Driver. [7.3/10]

Artistic simulation of the existential dread of millenial and Gen Z life, the continuous cycle of living just to not die, birthed into the cycle to work in a machine as but a tiny cog, life is meaningless, there is no real happiness. Life is fleeting, it has no purpose but to eventually end, like a fever dream that you can never escape but you can but close your eyes to do it all again, and again, and again. The point of life is to suffer, or to not, all life is meaningless, your only real choice is wether or not you continue on.

This is a very short experience but something about the atmosphere and philosophical undertones really stuck with me and I've replayed it a few times now. There isn't an awful lot to do and if you speed through it it's literally a 20 minute game, but I really do recommend exploring, I won't spoil it. The art style is also really cool, one of the best examples of "low poly" graphics that don't feel like a gimmick. My only complaint is I wish it was longer with more to explore, but there's something really unique here that I'd love to get more of. Please developer don't stop creating!

At first glance it can seem like it'll be some kind of cheap, hastily put together eastern european themed walking simulator but you quickly realize that there's a real attention to detail and in the composition of the environments. The developers know and understand very well the kind of places and feelings they wanted to evoke here and it's very effective. The muffled radio from a passing car, a plastic bag flying in the wind, a sad song in the background, a colorful neon sign on a decrepit wall, it's the kind of small things that could easily grab your attention if you were walking alone at night while lost in your thoughs. The game is good at making you stop, observe and ponder. The visuals and sounds are great. You just want to see more of it even if all you do is walking around. It's really a little atmospheric gem. Some might find it depressing, it's clearly intended and very apparent when you talk to the NPCs, but there's also some kind of beauty to find when you look behind the surface. This is a one hour journey but one that will likely leave its mark on you if that is the kind of atmosphere that speaks to you.

Straight up cinema, Kino was one might say Hearing people talking about a game being short and other consumer centric opinions don't do this justice. This is one of those many cases that show you how much tone can be conveyed by light. This game has so so many details that are so exclusive to the eastern european post soviet vibe that some stalker games can't even come close to. This is what they mean with "stylized realism" because I feel more set INSIDE this world. Just standing at the corner, looking a the club neon-light sign, having a car pass by in the background, the color gradient that just flatlines your serotonine production in your brain ... absoltuely speechless at so many moments outdone yourself there
