I love this game! I've been playing it constantly for about 4/5 days now, and i will likely continue playing it for a long time yet. At the price the game is, there is also no reason to not buy it. Sure, it has a few issues, but overall, its a great game, at a great price. BUY IT! However, there are a few things i would like to see included if, by any chance, the Devs read this, perhaps they could consider some of them. 1.) Base building - Not as a mandatory part of the game, but as an optional one. I for one, after finding out that the survivors (the faction i chose) are a long way from a lot of the areas where the quests happen, would like to build a base somewhere closer, so that i can store my stuff in, and even re-spawn in. I think it would be a great addition to the game as building a shelter is a core part of survival. 2.) Some of the animals are ridiculously hard to kill, honestly, this is a bit of a bind, whilst it shouldn't be easy to kill them, it shouldn't be near impossible either. 3,) The ammo ratings are way off. Since when has a 9mm round had almost the same stopping power as a .45 round? or a 5.56 been as powerful as a 7.62 long? I dunno about anyone else, but i would expect these to be more accurate to reality.

No idea why it is given bad ratings, love the game, played it when it came out and playing it now, hooked on it once again, the game has great core mechanics, shame it isn't had any progression in content but the content is great none the less, it costs nothing to buy and has a lot of gameplay value. Buy it, don't like it? refund, but im sure you will enjoy it given the chance
