Incredible game, hyrbid God Game with some Strategy & Roguelite elements. Wish there was more games like this, was definitely worth the price. Yes, could do with some QOL improvements (like dragging on the minimap to smoothly move, or having icons for enemy spawners/bases, and for showing which unit you have selected on the minimap), and the AI for defending is sometimes great and sometimes stupidly rudimentary - simple battle strategies like spreading out to avoid AoE abilities, etc, there's no real way to manually do this or give the order. Having said this negative stuff: these are really just ideas for the developer and not pertinent complaints. I loved this game and would gladly pay for more content like this or for this. I'm only throwing stuff out there because, well, vested-interest. There's barely any games like this on the market, so I'm inclined and incentivised to provide anything that'd make this game better than it already is, or for future products similar to this. Great game, strongly recommend if you loved Majesty or any similar GodGame Strategy titles.

I did like the game-play. I enjoyed the first one and I definitely felt this was an improved version. Sadly I also felt that there just wasn't enough. Got through the game in a weekend. I think this game would be much better if there were more levels to the levelling up system. It would be nice if there more things to level up as well as more than 4 levels to max out. I hope the devs are not finished with this one.

It has some improvements over the first game, mainly with regards to assigning minions to do a specific task. So far, it seems like the minions AI though is much worse than it used to be? Unless the monsters spawning are just faster and kill them easier, not sure. There are also new spells to buy in the shop. It's the same gameplay as the previous one. Just played a bit more - there might be specific weapons that are causing the AI to be worse like I mentioned above, whereas other weapon combos they behave better. Played even more - Once you create a titan a lot of the 'problems' go away to be honest. There is one 'bug'? The order in which parts are showing up in the head, body, arms, legs section used to be sorted highest mana cost to lowest mana cost I believe, now I'm not sure how they're sorted. The section with everything I think is sorted that way, but the individual parts sections don't appear to be, which makes selling parts kind of annoying. Adding the ability to sort parts by mana cost, speed, HP, etc would be ideal and needs it badly. Or an auto-sell parts where you can select "All Skeletons, Orcs" etc would be a super cool base upgrade. EDIT - It seems there's a Sort option now for the body parts which is great - can sort by damage, speed, group them by type, etc. Also AI is even better now. Overall, very good fun game, pacing of upgrades seems like it'll take a while to get through. There's an upgrade in your base that is 150000 gold so...

Fantastic fun little game. Honestly all of the bad reviews need to get some perspective, this game is WELL worth the price. Haven't experienced a single bug and have thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to continue enjoying it. Super cute characterization, fun customization, I love being able to combine various parts of monsters to make various creatures. Really fun designs, with very clear artistic intent in the models. In fact the art style overall is adorable, super cohesive, and really brings so much charm to what might otherwise be a very gory and visceral game! Unfortunately some people just have zero self awareness or ability to comprehend that a game not being an 80 hour long ~AAA~ title does not make it an early access bug filled nightmare. Like truly staggering, this game is EASILY worth the miniscule price, and while the AI can be a little janky at times, when raiding they do opt to just stand directly on top of the enemy base, again THIS GAME IS TEN DOLLARS. Honestly, if you can't find entertainment in this game for $10, then fair enough I hope you find a game that is fun for you. This game does not deserve the criticisms it is getting though. It could stand to have some better/more sorting options for body parts, for example being able to select a single race would be good over just the part, and as above, a bit more work on the AI would help. I find that the 'defend tower' AI doesn't adequately defend, however the default 'defend' AI placed AT the tower works much better. Having more clarity/specifity around the mechanics would be good for beginners too, not everything is quite as clear as it could be such as the costs or damage, numbers in general tbh seem to blend into the background and are easy to miss, perhaps some kind of stylized border or something to help the numbers stand out more than they currently do. Also you should include the cat more. Just personal preference, but this game needs more of him. All games do tbh.

I bought it after 100% the first game. The price is twice as much but also the quality! However it is very different than the first one. What I Like STEAM DECK Compatibility First impression is that they know their target audience, its great that it has Steam Deck compatibility in its option. I don't see many games do this (specifically optimize their game for the deck; controls, UI, etc) New and More Balanced Mechanics It is very different than the first one in terms of mechanics. Older body parts is still playable with the right upgrade. While in the first game you need to play newer parts because they're vastly superior and the older parts is downright unplayable in end game (i haven't finished in this one but so far it's great) There are now body types such as bones, flesh, etc. which emphasize previous point on utilizing older parts so every type has its own use > in short, I like this mechanics more balanced! Better Control One of the major improvements over the first game is the minion control. Now, you can start assigning minions to do a specific task. For example, to specifically attack enemies lair aside from exploring or defending base. In the first game you have to make your minions to stand still to defend your tower. But I think the Ai needs improvement as they die so easily (do not try to avoid projectiles). I trust the devs will address this in future updates. Major Content Improvement One thing that the first game lacks is content. All i say is, there are more than one map in this one and they delve into the lore further. More interactions too which I really love. Better Sense of Improvement This game like the first one creates a great sense of improvements from the upgrades! I love it so much with every new unlocks! Making the exploration part more exciting. What I Don't Like Too Grindy I still like that you can Idle this game and relax as it will pause when the boss appear but to get into that part is kinda grindy and slow. To start, the map is bigger but the unit speed is much slower... So to be in a state where you can leave it be you need at least a titan (more to it later). High Reliance on Titans This game have Titans as a new mechanics. Its basically what the name suggest, a titanic minion that combines many parts into one powerful entity. But it creates too much of a gap. Normal zombies even with later part struggles to simply survive against enemy titans... The game FORCE you to play around your titan which I'm not really a fan of. Imbalance Weapons The imbalances between weapons is very noticeable in this game. For example, lizard part in this game have granades and pistols. While granades offer stagger to enemis, pistols is simply wayyy better as it melts not only enemies but buildings. Pistol pierces to multiple enemies multiple times while granades thrown only damages them once. The power gap is crazy between same tier weapons. They need to balance this ASAP. Ai too Stupid Keeps on dying since they do not know how to utilize their weapon effectively if they have incompatible weapon combination. They cannot dodge enemies attack too. Overall user Interface and Experience While i do love that they put Steam Deck compatibility, but the user interface is too complex... I need to double click a lot of times because idk what i'm trying to do and boom somehow i accidentally cast a spell or i creates the minion lmaooo. Idk if it's bugged but it's too complex for me. And also, it took longer now for controller users to burn the part... and the parts is arranged badly compared to the first game. I hope the devs find solution for this. All in all, it is a great game! I love the major improvements but complex doesn't mean better. The first game with its simplicity offer a smoother gameplay experience! But overall this is absolutely a better game despite it flaws. 7.5/10 - I hope they improve things I listed above
