Initially I've purchased it to 'walk in place' with Pico motion trackers, Unfortunately app didn't recognized them, so disappointed I was about to refund it, but decided to try arm swinging mode. I'm surprised this way of locomotion isn't supported by Steam itself. Controlling walk direction by a thumb stick and it's intensity by mime is +100500 for immersion. Hope to see motion trackers to be supported too...

controller motion still works as of aug 7th 2024, that reason being why i got it, being able to swing your arms at your sides to run in Skyrim VR is awesome, and adds a good layer of immersion and beats spending $1000 on a treadmill for VR, hopefully future updates don't break the controller motion tracking! app is abandoned by creator / hasn't received updates in a long time.

As long you use it's intended purpose using VR controllers only. You'll have some fun with it. This appears abandoned by their creator. It's not recommended to go out of your way to connect Joycons and phone for the immerse experience. They don't work anymore. What you see in this store page's video is accurate and what is still working. Though I haven't got the jumping to work. Still if you're looking to swing your arms and walk in place for the sake of immersion. Can't hurt to get this. Can confirm even if your games is not there, it is possible to manually make a profile of your game to work with this. If you're still on the fence, check out the demo. The fact WMR works with it at all is awesome.

Mental says that using hands in virtual reality might enhance immersion and a sensation of presence. However, biologically, I can state that it reveals that the arms can be prone to weariness and even harm from persistent movement of the arms. The expert emphasises that more research is needed to determine the impact of each strategy on control efficiency and comfort level. So, I want to state in this review about Natural Locomotion, which uses hands moving for walking in virtual reality is so realistic. I want to say that Natural Locomotion can be possibly assisted for recreating real-life walking in VR games. But it should be taken in mind that vigorous hand waving can create tiredness and may even lead to damage, therefore this method should be used with caution and with particular attention.

Natural locomotion solves the problem of moving around in VR. They have knocked it out of the park with this one. It completely transforms VR gaming and I can't reccommend it highly enough. You swing your arms to move. It's that simple! There has been a problem with a Steam update breaking Oculus / Meta quest thumb rest touch support, but this is easily remedied - go into the settings for your game and change from "Thumb Rest touch" to "joystick touch". Just look at the hours I've clocked up in this. Over 60 at the time of writing. I knew it was especially good cos when it went wrong (thanks Steam and Meta, you jerks!) it was like an essential part of the game had broken. Fortunately the developers did get in touch with the fix, and very quickly! Go buy this app. It's the best VR related purchase I've made since I got No Man's Sky. Get it now, you won't regret it! (there is a free demo version as well if you're still not sure)
