They truly don’t make racing games like this anymore. For one dollar, Nail’d gave me more enjoyment than the latest Need for Speed ever could. It feels like developers genuinely cared about the games they created back then. Today’s racing scene feels soulless, devoid of love, passion, and any real effort. It’s disheartening, which is why I take such pleasure in exploring and playing older racing titles. Flying ATVs? What more could you want?

Fun racer. Goes on sale for 89p. No brainer! Not sure what the sound devs were thinking, but the ATV/Bike engine SFX are up way too high. Lower them to about 30% in the audio settings and keep the music max (for Slipknot Duality of course).

I wanted to address another review about controller issues. I had to load into the game keyboard/mouse and then in options you can change input device from mouse/keyboard to "360 controller" im using a series XS controller it works great so far. only have completed tutorial and a race but felt like i needed to address the controller issue review as it partly made me hesitate getting the game. i found mouse/keyboard controls kinda bad but its great with controller. (xbox series XS)

The best $0.99 I've ever spent of a game. This game is special to me on a personal level. When I was younger (Probably around 4-5 years old) my Dad used to play this game on his computer. I used to love to sit there and watch him play for hours. Little me thought it was the coolest thing ever. Fast forward about 10 or 11 years, I log onto steam and the game's on sale for only $0.99! I thought it was a steal for a game that brought me good memories. I played it, and the gameplay is actually really fun! I didn't expect a small game from 2010 would be any good, but to my surprise, it was! It holds up pretty well especially for today's standards. Anyways, sorry for the yap-fest... This game gets a 9.7/10 for me.

The speed and inevitable crashes of Burnout paired with the zany course design of SSX nail'd is a surprisingly fun racing game. The zany track design with numerous paths to pick from, massive air to be had, and immense speed achieved while zooming through its locales remind me a fair bit of the SSX series track design. Unfortunately, unlike those games you cannot do ANY tricks on here, which is a definite downside. That aside, you do start to get into a rhythm of perfecting your landings while leaning your rider around to best maximize your path through the courses, and you can achieve more boost through various systems (jumping through hoops, big airs, landing perfectly, etc.) The soundtrack varies but mostly embodies late 2000s rock schlock that you might expect. Although its graphics show their age a bit at this point, the surreal steepness of the tracks, fun barreling ahead before exploding during a wreck, and large jumps make for an immersive, enjoyable experience. Whether picked up during one of its many sales or at its full retail price of a low $4.99 here on Steam, I definitely recommend it.
