I LOVEEDDD THIS GAME goddd, it's so fun. I DIDN'T THINK I'D ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DID and all the emotions it evoked was lowkey surprising. it took me ~10hrs to complete ONE run, though i relied on a wiki to help me get the ending i want! that part is confusing and i felt like one wrong choice would completely change my goal :/ the voice acting and dialogue is AWESOME i thoroughly enjoyed every scene even though some dialogue was so out of left field and weird. there's a handful of questionable lines out of the thousands written; it's really not that bad but it left me so confused LOL idk i rlly enjoyed this and recc it hardcore. the main chars are all dynamic and i think both good and bad endings are so on par with each arc they have. not to mention, its literally pocket change cheap for hours of good content, that you can replay over and over to get so many different endings. this is my first time playing a game like this but it set the standards high! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEE IT one of my top fav games tbh 12/10 <3!

I'm not really familiar with chinese games, so this was a bit of a strange experience for me in comparison to english or japanese VNs, but it was interesting although i personally wouldn't do it again because the writing style doesn't really do it for me. I would recommend people to give it a shot. the storyline was honestly captivating and i was really invested in the game.

Pros and Cons for the game : Pros : It is not as expensive as other Otome, but the OSTs are sublime, and the game is fully voiced which is rare enough to be mentionned for the price. The characters design is great, and you'll be granted with some little fx and sound fx as well for a more immersive experience for a visual novel. And the MC is a strong female character, which is great instead of the fragile, naive ones we can find in so many games of this genre. Cons : It is a very complex political story, which take a huge place of the story, I liked it, don't mind me, it reminded me of Dynasty Warrior 5 on PS2 somehow, without the fight phase, maybe the nostalgia is speaking here, but in the end, so few space for the main character and a romance. Some characters don't even have the chance to have a kiss CG. And so few blushy sprites :( Also, the end with the antagonist feels rushed in every route, he is there and pouf he is gone. The epilogue, either for good nor bad ending could have been a bit longer. As for the route themselves, they all follow the same red line, wich is bit sad as well, I would have loved total different story to discover for each protagonist, but that's still a great story in the end. Last but not least : If you are a success chaser like me, then you might encounter some difficulties with one in particular, I even followed a community guide, but it's still locked :( All in all, I still recommend it, as it has still long chapters, so of course : a long game play to enjoy with some tears jerker from time to time

This game has gorgeous art and compelling, well-written characters with distinct personalities and storylines, and a complex, refreshingly competent main character. Set in pseudo-historical China, the story is rich with both political intrigue and mythical beasts. Each branch of the storyline diverges into something unique and interesting in a way that anyone who has read a lot of visual novels is likely to appreciate.

I really liked this game. Both the art and the music were very beautiful and fitting, voice acting was on point, and learning a piece of Ancient Chinese history and mythology was exciting. I found some of love interests more compelling and some romances more convincing than others, but all the routes had their merit and contributed to the whole story. This game indeed has more politics and warfare than romance, but to me it felt refreshing, as well as the strong personality of the protagonist. Overall quite an engaging and enjoyable game.
