This game shows the most disgusting parts of humanity without any graphical images. It tells a heavy story of child abused by society and system just because they were born. The worst realisation this game left me with, is that this isnt old news. MILLIONS of children become victims of unreasonable hatered... Because they are wrong nationality, wrong race, wrong gender. They are wrong just because they were BORN. I dont recommend this game to reasonable people. I recommend this game to that one guy that sees old man calling someone on the street a slur and dismisses it as NATURAL. I recommend this game to a red neck who works 12 hours on fields, and when he comes back, opens news and smiles with joy when he sees that imigrant children became orphans because mass deportations. I recommend this game to a teenager that were shat in the head by his religious parents that unbabtised children deserve to burn in hell for eternity. If one that reads this recomendation saw themselves in this story, im proud of you. You made it all this way. That means you can keep going some more. Remember, guys, we are the ones who shape a human being out of a child. If you are not ready for same sacrifices for them as you did in this game, you should not become a parent. 10/10

The game is exactly how its described in the listing. So if that's what you are interested in: here you go. Its definitely heart breaking, but, at least in the story I had, pretty fulfilling. Just be ready for a few stomach drops. It took me about 4/5 hours to complete.

It was a very emotional game that had me in tears at the end because the kid was so precious and basically going through so much at the age of seven. That children should never have to suffer through and it's the job of the parents to love, nurture and protect them from anything or anyone that could do them harm.

My Child Lebensborn is an emotional rollercoaster of a hidden gem. Taking place in post-WWII Norway, the game pulls no punches in depicting the lasting impact the Lebensborn program had on Norwegian children. During the war, German officers and soldiers were encouraged to produce children with women deemed racially fit to grow the Aryan race and make up for war casualties. The women did not have to be German and of those women, many were Norwegian. After the war, the children born from Norwegian mothers and German fathers were viewed as evil and impure and were thus subject to physical and psychological torment. As for the gameplay, the emotional weight of adopting and caring for a child born from the program becomes evident early on, when he/she comes home from the first day of school. As time passes, that emotional weight grew heavier and heavier. Just in the first hour and a half, I hated to see my child alienated and then bullied by the students and the teachers, so much so that I had to close the game for an hour or two. And yet, even between and during game sessions, I often asked myself "Am I doing this right? Is there more that I can do?" Although I had no control over what happened to my child outside my home, I did have a lot of control whenever he/she was by my side. We could bounce a ball. We could draw. We could play hide-and-seek. We could make paper crafts. We could explore and forage in the woods. We could go fishing by the lake and make delicious fish soup. And even when my child was not by my side, I could go to work, save up money, and purchase gifts, for Christmas or for any reason whatsoever. To answer those questions, maybe I am doing this right, and what I can provide is enough. At the end of the day, the best I can give to my child are presence, kindness, and love.

Cons: - It's VERY repetitive. Essentially it is: school, being bullied, caring. This for six hours. Maybe it should've been shorter. That's the biggest one, it was very annoying. - It has some plot holes. Like, giving the letter to mr berg instead of the most evil teacher in the class? Just stopping sending him to school after literally death threat? - The ending sounds like a deus ex machina. - Your choices sometimes don't have an effect. If you want to be bad, in some situations, the game ignores you. For example when Klaus don't want to go to school. Pros: - The game is very cute and wholesome. That makes you very affectionate to the kid. - Part of the profits go to charity. - Love the educational purpose. I didn't know anything about this story! I want to recommend it though. I like it, especially at first when the repetition isn't that much. Hope the next one will be less repetitive
