I'm really enjoying the game so far. However, a major problem for me is that the text size is very small and there's no way to increase it in the settings. Most of the time I can't really read what's on the screen so it's taken a lot longer to figure things out, and the interface is very small too so trying to move things from containers or click to pause the game is takes a few attempts and fiddly mouse movements. I'm a huge fan of this type of game so I'm gonna keep playing. But, It'd hugely improve my playing experience if there was an option to increase these in the settings. EDIT: I'm very late game now, and noticed every so often the screen glitches and your character is frozen and you cannot move, I checked online and others have experienced this too, going back years now. The only way out of this is to reload it seems. It's happened a number of times now and I've had to repeat whole days. I just carried on because I enjoy the game... But, it just happened after... hmm without spoiling it I'll just say 'AI', and it took a long time to get through that situation. THEN the glitch happened and I'm going to have to redo the entire thing from the morning before it froze. It's hard to recommend this game when it has such a huge unresolved issue. I will replay the last 15m because I'd like to get to the end, but wow! Incredibly frustrating experience. All in all, I do enjoy this game a lot. But, I have to be honest with myself that some aspects of the game are off. Dialogue that has conflicts, late game having endless supplies contrasting the low supply requirements for the next goal, sometimes it's not clear what the next step is and after a while trying and failing to figure it out myself I'll resort to looking it up. Lots of aspects are out of order, I stocked up on so much wood and fuel that by the time I hit the 'oil' floor of the mine I wondered what the point of the generator was when I have endless wood forever. Things like the Waterloo 1815 being only possible to place if you point the cursor at the ground, unlike every other placeable item. The beginning of the game is great. But, as you get further along it feels unfinished and like not a lot of thought was put in to progression and the finer details of quests making sense. Now i'm going to go back and repeat the AI situation after the repeated glitch, because I like the game enough I'll put in the time again. I can see a lot of people being so angry they quit when this glitch happens at crucial moments. If I was less invested in reaching the ending I'd probably set this game aside, but here we are. EDIT 2: THE ENDING MORE THAN MAKES UP IT!!!! I will keep this as a Yes I Recommend. The amount of work put into the ending is clear. The dedication of the creators to their project is evident. I still believe has it's issues with bugs and rough edges, dialogue issues, pointers to progressing tasks, no options for changing the size of writing and such, the timing of certain things like access to locations/ plot points, and especially resources in mid to late game. But, the gameplay is a blast, and the story was interesting and kept me engaged. The satisfactory completion of all the storylines truly made up for my building issues with Mr Prepper towards the end. I laughed out loud at what the uhhh final person who comes to your door said The fact my impression of the game did a 180 so quickly is because the ending is wonderful. It's definitely worth pushing through the difficulties to reach the end, even if you have to look some things up and encounter the bug that freezes your character. I found myself smiling widely at the credit sequence.

I absolutely love this game! If you like a good time management sim and the idea of taking on an overbearing government entity, I urge you to buy this game. The Only gripe I would have with the game, is the fact that there is not a lot of content online to help you answer some question you have.

This game is very well made. It has nice graphics, good mechanics, fun things to explore, cool theme. But it also has a major problem, tasks are very repetitive, and the game cycle is too short which means that tasks have to be repeated more often. It often feels like artificially wasting time, instead of actually progressing in the game. I think the concept is cool, and I do not regret buying it, but it does not quite feel like a full game.

Recommended on sale A very interesting game. A kinda mix with base builder and RPG where you play a Prepper living in a authoritarian regime. You've recently lost your memory and trying to find your way out of the strange town. And on the way exploring things about your character. And building a base under your home. Its a fun game which tries to spread far and achieves interesting things. But It can annoyingly seem limited in many of its features. Never going far with most of base builder aspects and not really automated in many areas where you can waste alot of time moving about getting one item to another location. Exploring the world is somewhat limited with several fixed locations which can get mildly repetive. And combat seeming very basic. The back story keeps you going though as different mysteries about the world surfacing and moving about. Hence the reason I can still recommend this game. Worth a go if you get it on sale.
