I had MotoGP19 and upgraded to MotoGp24. I think GP19 was better but this is also good. If you want this buy it, BUT when you want to start with this game I don´t recomend this ( as a first game buy any older version like GP19 or GP20 or older they can be arround 3 to 4 euros ). Game mechanics is so good. overall my rating is: 9/10 pros: Modern Driver season changes High detailed tracks Fantastic graphics character customization cons: riders faces are bit off sometimes penalties are too strict

absolutely the best motogp game i have ever played, unlike other motogp games you actually have brakes and can brake in a lean without the front end just collapsing, if you are looking to buy a motogp game, i would not bother with any of the other games from the motogp series. this is the best one hands down. milestone actually made an enjoyable motogp game

As someone who never played a Motorace game before, I was intrigued to get that one. I wasn't prepared to this, "I didn't ask for this" (A.J) either. It took me a couple days, and YouTube videos to understand what was required to have a full race without having you use and abuse the "rewind" feature. I was tempted to refund it, but I'm glad that I didn't. If I went through DS3, Dirt Rally, lot of car sim games, I could do it. I highly recommend it, runs great on Steam Deck, great graphic and challenging. I'm not a professional, I just enjoy it.

I have never played any previous versions of MotoGP, so I cant compare it to previous versions. I have now played 60 Hours. I have only played carerer mode and Ive done one season in Moto 3, one season on Moto 2 and 4 Races in Moto GP. This game is very realistic and I love it! Its the best racing game ive played in a long time, with tons of options to make the difficulty just as you need it to be, you feel like you have to fight in every race without it being too hard. I love that Riders change teams, moves up and down divisons each season and that you do improove your bike during the season based on connections you make. The fact that every weekend is just like in real life, with practice and qualifying laps, so you get time to learn the tracks inside the career mode, but you can also skip it if you want to, is really nice. If you watch MotoGP it will be alot more fun cus you know the riders names etc. I recommend to start in Moto 3 or Moto 2 if you play without assist and are new to the game as the GP bikes is a big jump in difficulty to drive. When it comes to the addaptive AI, I didnt like it, as it is really unrealistic, and makes it too hard if u do a good first lap, and too easy if you make a bad first lap, as the AI adapt to that and drive increasingly faster over time than you did at the start. But as you can change the difficulty with 1% at a time, adaptive AI aint really needed. There are a few bugs with placement showing in carreer mode screen if u get 0 points in a race. Even if u placed for example 18th, it might show 25th or 30th. Wich is abit annoying. (Edit: This only happen in Moto 2 and Moto 3, not MotoGP) Also the number of times you get Long Lap Penalty during practice is really annoying as its completely wrong some times. (Edit: Tip: Use the rewind button when this happen to prevent the LLP) I still recommend this game if u want a fun and challenging racing game. For sure gonna play this 100s of hours before I get boored.

I'll update this review once I've played a bunch more detail but I'm a bit too excited to not provide some initial impressions. MotoGP 23 was a significant step in terms of the bike handling but there were still a bunch of annoyances and most of them had to do with the AI. MotoGP 24 is honestly one of the best upgrades in the series since I've started playing (MotoGP 20). For starters, the AI is MUCH closer to how I see real riders behave, as if they're actually humans who could get seriously hurt or killed. They aren't reckless but are still competitive and don't hesitate to get their elbows out and bang bars a wee bit. I had so much fun in my first stereotypical back and forth Moto3 battle and for the first time I did not have a single frustration with the AI doing something ridiculous that would be borderline life threatening in real life. The adaptive difficulty is also really quite satisfying so far. I would maybe like the ability to tweak it slightly, but it seems to adjust so if you're riding reasonably well (not in an esports context necessarily...) that you have the potential to fight for a podium or win. I always struggled with the difficulty slider in the past, making it way too hard or way too easy, so this makes career races far more satisfying. At the start of a race weekend it does seem like there might still be issues with insanely good simulated times for the AI, but with the new format where the first session is a free practice means those times don't really matter, and the times for the next sessions seem to normalize. I wonder if this is related to my massive skill gap between certain tracks, and if it applies the difficulty from a previous race that is a good track for me, on a track that I'm not so good at. Also, the new race steward system is awesome! Finally the AI gets track limits warnings and there are far more realistic penalties across the board. Big kudos to Milestone for this. Outside of the AI changes, I really appreciate the new braking, corner apex, and corner exit markers, although the braking markers do feel a bit early sometimes so they're useful as a rough guide or a starting point. Still, this is tremendously helpful. There aren't any significant graphical upgrades that I can see (except DLSS support which is a big plus for those of you who might need it) and the core of the career seems pretty similar to '24. I'm still in the career "prequel" in Moto3 but there's the same social media "wall" and the career intro would indicate that the only particularly new feature in the career is the rider market, which I can't comment on yet. So if your gripes about the past games in the series were primarily about the AI, I feel like you're going to be tremendously happy with MotoGP 24. Milestone, if you're reading this, is there any chance we can **please** port this AI into Ride 5 somehow? You've done great work on it and it would make Ride 5 a completely different and far more enjoyable game.
