Twisted sad story for sure. It didn't take me this long to play I just had my computer going when I was doing other things. I do feel like a child would miss things like the story has set up but at the same time... maybe somewhat piece together. I had to turn off the audio I can read alot faster than he can read it outloud. Good voice tho. I do wish it was just a little bit more explained with the little girl on the monster bit. I finished all route, I do agree with a different review the mother felt like an object like a second thought just.. something there to do sympathy stuff and nothing else. Decent game espically on sale/bundle.

The story is great, it is every time super sad and quite long compared to this dev's games. The achievement system doesn't work on my PC I don't know why. Overall worth the money.

I have played a lot of visual novels before, but this one is just great. I loove the story. It's just fantastic how you get more information with each ending, until you are able to piece together a small picture. Just a bit sad that some details are left in the dark, but that's the beauty of it—an open ending leaves room for wonder, for possibilities beyond what's told. Definitely recommended!

Sometimes, video games aren’t about having fun. They’re not about exploring vast open worlds, beating impossible bosses, or pulling off last-second clutches in a competitive match. Sometimes, they’re not about photorealistic graphics, bombastic action, addictive gameplay loops, or Hollywood-tier cinematics. Sometimes, they’re simply about feelings. Happiness. Sadness. Remorse. Madness. Hope. Depression. Anxiety. Sometimes, a game gives you the chance to see the world through different eyes—through the pain of someone who’s lost everything, through the confusion of a mind on the brink, through the loneliness of a child trying to understand the world around them. And when a game does that? When it lets you step into another person’s suffering and truly feel it? It makes you a wiser, kinder human being. This isn’t just entertainment. This is art. Making a game like this—one that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll—is, to me, far more professional than a 500-person team in a AAA studio working overtime just to make the execs richer. This is about passion. About storytelling. About making people feel. And Nikita Kaf? a master of that. Man, not gonna lie—this game had me in tears. Just when I thought it was getting slow, it hit me so hard I won’t forget it. Monsters of Little Haven isn’t just a game. It’s an experience. And it’s one I’m grateful for.

I really wanted Monsters of Little Haven to be like Scarlet Hollow, and it is thematically and in art style choices; however, the branching narratives don't really feel cohesive, are generally confusing, and just aren't that engaging either, despite moderate entertainment value. 3/10
