it's a pity that the first two are not on steam, anyway this was the first one I played and since I liked it I will play the first two as well, not a long game but for the price you pay it's a good game with good replayability

This game is only 2$, if it looks fun to you, just buy it. It has an easy set of achievements too, so if you like to 100% the games you play as well, you'll get all of them within 3-4 hours or so.

I don’t know why this is marked incompatible with the steam deck. I played the entire game on the original steam deck model using the controls layout that valve automatically picked to be best compatible. I went into the settings and set the options to fullscreen. According to comments within discussion threads, this is something that you have to do to prevent the game from running at half its speed. The game still had slow down very occasionally, but only when they were a lot of enemies on the screen or when I was in specific parts of specific rooms. I do not feel that hampered my experience at all, and I would easily recommend the game to anyone that enjoys the series or to any newcomers looking for a platformer they can beat within a day.

Momodora is such a charming series, and this entry is no exception. The pixel art evokes warm and fuzzy feelings, especially the character portraits - even the "evil" characters are so pretty! This is such a short experience tho, but I believe it's worth the price. Mechanically there's not much complexity here. The game has a simple inventory system, allowing you to equip three passive items at a time. There are light metroidvania elements, with a few secrets to discover (but not many). You can either button-mash for melee attacks or charge for a ranged shot. Momodora 3 is a fun little game. It's not outstanding or massive by any means, but hey, what can you expect from something that costs next to nothing? It's worth a play, even if it's not long or particularly expensive. If you're coming to this game after playing Momodora 4 and upwards, you should know that this game is somewhat unrelated and less polished or big. However, it's still fun if you liked the others. It's like a little throwback version of momodora 4/5.
